Iliada Beach Hotel - Gouvia beach

The hotel itself is very nice, especially the garden and the staff are very friendly. The beach nearby is not bad, and buses and transport links are very good. One recommendation, do not book half board - the food provided is lower quality than the restaurant food - very canteen quality aiming for high calorie/carbs with potatoes in every meal and even some leftovers from the breakfast buffet (cheese, ham and boiled eggs) used in one of the starters. Much better restaurant options nearby for a lower price.

Lovely Hotel with lovely staff. The Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The Location is closed to the water and surrounded by Restaurants. Although you can have a nice dinner right in the Restaurant running by Hotel with an amaizing view of the sea. There is a stray puppy on the beach which made me happy with his smile and friendly manner. The employee of the Hotel take the Corona situation very seriously and wearing mask in cafeteria or by reception or by cleaning lady is obligatory.

A nice hotel next to the Gouvia beach. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful which really helped us during our stay. Rooms have a different standards so I think it depends from which travel agency you book. Breakfasts were quite monotonous, maybe because of the coronavirus season. Overall a good stay in Corfu :)

Positive: - Hotel is clean - Area is nice - Food in the Beach bar Negative: - Wlan unacceptable slow - no safe in the room - rooms are too noisy, you hear everything from the restaurant and other guests - no beach towels - rooms are not made up on a daily base - unacceptable during Covid !! - breakfast is not worth to be called breakfast even vor Greece (no eggs, no ham, no feta, no pancakes, etc...) We will not be here a 2nd time looks like. I can recommend other hotels on Korfu. From my point of view this is NOT a 3*** star hotel... sorry

Great hotel, just next to pebbly quiet beach more of a lagoon.. Room top, just refurbished with silent air conditioning.. Restaurant correct, breakfast ample but uninspiring but included in room rate. Some wonderful staff...

We went there at the end of May when Corona in Greece was slowly coming to an end. The vacation was amazing! The people in the hotel were all very friendly and caring and did everything to improve our Corfu experience and make our stay easy and relaxed. (They ordered bicycles for us, told us everything on where to go when, called someone so we can go Jet-skiing ...?) The hotel area is very beautiful with a lot of flowers and very close to the beach, try the cocktails at the bar! The Restaurant is also nice, although they don't have many vegan options to order - but the people are very caring, so in doubt, just ask. The breakfast is a small one but it's absolutely sufficient to be prepared for the day - they took really good care about the corona rules, so we felt safe all the time ? They also have a doctors office right in front of the hotel so in case anything happens or you have to do a covid test, you can just go there. Close to the hotel, there is also a supermarket, many souvenir shops and restaurants and you can also walk to the harbor of Gouvia. We will definitely come back soon! ?

We spend 7 night on the Iliada beach and we had mostly a wonderful time. We stayed at room 121 and it was quite big and spacious. The bathroom looked like it was recently renovated and the room had almost all what we needed. A few more hangers on the wardrobe would have been nice. Far enough, we never asked for them at the reception. The hotel in general is mega clean and I would say it is quite cute. The personal is really friendly and ready to help. In my opinion there are only 4 bad points for this hotel. 1. The room was not soundproofed. All people going to their room plus the restaurant people were walking in front our room and it was literally impossible to sleep without earplugs. 2. The insulation of the room was really poor, probably cause the windows and door were quite old. A short time after turning the A/C off the room was once more mega hot. 3. The fridge did not work good. At first it did not work at all and after they fixed it started to work but somehow it was mega loud and it did not keep the drinks we had inside cold. It was so loud we had to turn it off during nights. 4. The A/C looked quite old and it was also mega loud. It was quite hot on the room and we tried to sleep one night with it on but even with earplugs we had no chance of sleeping. Breakfast buffet was not great but I think it was in line with the price, however a toaster would have been good to have. All in all, the proximity to the beach makes it a good choice for a beach holidays

Nice little hotel with simple but very clean rooms. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Location is great right next to the small beach, and the layout of the hotel without a perimeter fence gives you more the feeling of staying in the Greek town rather than in a tourist place.
