Not only is he highly competent professionally but I found him to be kind and sympathetic as well. He listens carefully to you and explains in great detail all the aspects of your particular case. I consulted him due to painful red itchy eyes and he correctly diagnosed Meibomian Gland Disfunction along with severe Blepharitis in both eyes and since following his treatments and advice my problems have been solved. I also had Cataract Surgery performed by the good doctor and I was amazed by how smoothly the whole procedure was carried out. To sum up Mr Mavrikakis is a wonderful doctor and a really nice person.

He went through a right eye evisceration with hydroxyapatite orbital implant insertion under a general anaesthesia that last for few hours.It was a delicate operation, but the good work and professionalism of Dr. Ioannis Mavrikakis, made it possible.
