Best villas in Lixouri!!

Beautiful accommodation great location

Everything was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful people and very nice rooms. Everything was very clean and luxurious. From the pool you have a beautiful view. I will recommend this place!

We stayed for one week in the Villa Atheras of the Ionian Village. It was a perfect stay. Everything is tasteful, well maintained and very clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. Especially Manos gave us useful tips and helped us in many ways (organized the Covid tests etc.). The accommodation is as described on the website. The shops and restaurants of Lixouri are only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend to stay at Ionian Village.

Me and my friend have booked last minute our summer holidays in Ionian Village, Fotini Studio for the first two weeks of August 2021 (5-15 August). We have been advised since the very beginning of our booking that this was a basement studio with only one window of light with access to the common areas. Since the reviews were excellent, we have decided to go for it at the price of €120 per night agreed with the Manager, and book also our ferry tickets to Kefalonia. As soon as we have arrived, we have noticed some problems with the studio like mosquitos (around 10) and absence of sockets since we needed to plug our laptops and chargers and the bathroom window in full view in case someone was coming down the stairs leaving us in zero privacy. Also, there was almost no available space in order to dry our clothes. The Manager though was helpful and has provided us straight away with all the necessary to short these problems out except the window of course. In general, he explained to us that this was the first time that the studio was rented, so he was more than willing to help us out with any problems. Next morning, we woke up by the light coming from the only window in the room since there are no blinds at all and obviously during our stay this issue couldn’t be resolved. Our nightmare though began on the 3rd day that the new tenants above our studio arrived (family of 6 with two babies), leaving us every day sleepless from 7 o clock in the morning because the babies were moving furniture and banging things on the floor continuously without bothering at all, even if the Manager (as he has told us) advised them twice regarding this matter. Since i have tried to spend some of my time in the pool area, it seemed clean enough but there was no possibility of showering first before entering, since there is no shower and all. As a result, tenants that were using sunscreen, were entering the pool with it. Obviously, the pool ended up being again a playground since it was occupied most of the time by unattended children. To sum up, even if the studio seemed cute aesthetically, was not practical at all though, we ended up paying a high price for getting no rest at all and zero compensation by the Manager (just excused himself for not being able to do something for us) for the fatigue that we had to experience in the only days of our annual leave. We wish we could find a different accommodation option but during August was impossible to change. We do not suggest this studio to single travelers. This residence is 100% family oriented, and it needs major improvements in order to be able to be respectful to all.

Superb villa with beautiful views and premium service We stayed in June 22 for a week in Villa Lepeda in the beautiful Ionian Village complex. The villa is spacious, has air conditioning in all rooms and has everything you need. The description on the homepage is absolutely accurate. We were absolutely thrilled with our holiday and this has several reasons: - The private pool and the spectacular view over the bay and Argostoli especially in the evening with lighting. - the gorgeous view from the bedroom to the terrace, the pool and the bay especially in the morning - Daily cleaning and pool service - The terrace which invites you to chill out with its generous shaded areas and loungers. - The large barbecue on the terrace - Exceptional was the service by the manager Manos who was always there to help us with tips and support. Minor issues (e.g. a defective light bulb) were solved immediately and we always felt comfortable. In summary, we can say that we have not recovered so well for a long time and enjoyed our short holiday so much. A great accommodation with super service and a unbelievable view - we will gladly come back again.
