The IONIAN MODE is not just a typical sailing school. I appreciate their professionalism, the depth of knowledge and how well was everything organised to every detail.
I had all the support needed for my preparation for this RYA/MCA Yachtmaster in UK as much as for my exam preparation in Greece.

His staff are excellent and their boats very well maintained. These guys are passionate about teaching others to sail so ionianMode make a fantastic choice for anyone at any level wanting to learn, progress, hone skills. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences of my life. I completed my RYA Day Skipper course. I joined the group with zero experience and a general interest in sailing. I left with a licence, a passion for sailing and made some amazing friends along the way. I am now in talks with a local yacht racing club and will be sailing from the UK to France and back in July as part of a local crew. As enjoyable as the sailing was, the beauty of the Ionian islands and the passion the instructors brought to the table is what made it so special. I did the course on my own and by the end of the two weeks everyone on the yacht had bonded so well. I had evaluated other companies but what made Ionian mode so special is how personal the service was; they helped me organise transfers, gave me advice and helped me all the way through the booking process. If you are even considering it, just do it - You will not regret it.

George and his team provided first class training in a professional yet relaxed fashion and the whole crew had a great time; whilst gaining some useful experience and RYA Day Skipper exams as well.
I will be back with my partner and our children, so that the whole family can enjoy sailing in a safe, yet enjoyable setting.
The Ionian islands and just beautiful as well.
Fantastic week and anyone thinking about doing it: don’t put it off, speak with the Ionian Mode team.

Our instructor, George, is extremely competent and great at his job! The boat is well kept and comfortable. Sailing location is just amazing. Definitely recommended and we’re coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve just finished a week-long competent crew course with Ionian Mode.
I can’t tell you how blown away I was with the experience. The sailing itself was awesome, but Ionian Mode are SUCH a great company.
George was our instructor, and he was so patient, knowledgeable and informative. He’s a great teacher. As we got to know him throughout the week it really became clear how much he cares about his students and their success too.
We learned so much, and they just exceeded everything we could possibly have hoped for.
The rest of the team were so helpful and lovely too – was great to meet Achilles and Chrys, and Nikos was so helpful in getting us organised in the run up to the course.
They’re all great people, and they really treat you like family.
If you’re thinking of learning to sail and you’re looking for a company, these are your guys, no question. The boat was beautiful, and the places we visited were unbelievable, the team were so lovely and knowledgable.
It really was like the experience of a lifetime, and we're ready to take our sailing to the next level – thank you so much… and we can’t wait to come back for our Day Skipper course in a couple of months!
