Jsails hat ein schlechten rollfock gemacht für 800€ nach 2 Monate ist gerissen...war altes Plastik??? bzw. schlecht genaeht, kaum geklebt.... Habe auch erklärt wie eine stern verstärkt und breiteren Fock naehen soll! Plus 200€ angeboten... Kulant mit Einsicht war er nicht.... Heute hat Spiro's freund vom Niko für 37€ mein altes Rollrock Restauriert...im corfu...2x teuerer???? Als jsails in prevesa.... Bravo mit freundlichen Grüßen Synology

Jsails firmiert als Segelmacher, deshalb habe ich ein neues Großsegel dort bestellt. Der Vorgang ging, viellecht wegen Corona sehr stockend, die Kommunikation schwierig. Es wurda auch am Rigg gemessen, aber schließlich war es nach einigem Hin und Her und Nachfragen doch fertig. Der Segelmacher hat das Segel zusammen mit einem Helfer gleich angeschlagen, mich gar nicht herangelassen, der Grund fand ich erst später heraus.Beim ersten Segelschlag hat es sowohl am vorderen wie am achteren Ende des Baumes den Keder des Segels aus der Kederschiene herausgezogen, weil das Führungsklotzchen am achteren Ende, sowie das Auge am vorderen Ende des Unterlieks um meherere Zentimeter falsch plaziert waren, und keine Last aufnehmen konnten. Hätte ich das gesehen, hätte ich das Setzen des Segels verhindert und die Annahme des Segels verweigert. Einem Segelmacher, der diese Bezeichnung verdient, darf so ein gravierender Fehler nicht passieren! Nach der Reklamation hat man den Keder am Unterliek herausgetrennt, und in neuer, hoffentlich besserer Position wieder angenäht. So habe ich ein neues Segel bezahlt und ein geflicktes bekommen.

I have recently bought sails from John at JSails in Preveza and wanted to give a honest and fair review in case you are looking or thinking about new sails. I do not normally post reviews but felt JSails deserved the “shout out”. Service is phenomenal. Ring they answer the phone. Email within 1 hour they get back to you. Want a quote they will come back to you quickly with a bespoke price. That price is not that far away from what you pay. Price was very competitive. I did ring and email around Lefkas and Corfu area. I am sure they will all do a good job but the price did vary by 20% from Johns quote. Measuring up is highly professional. John personally turns up on the yacht ready to go. No computer spreadsheet on the internet and phone calls. Tape measure out, paper and pencil. You can tell the experience of a true sailmaker. You feel confident that it is going to fit and no headaches in a few weeks. Quality of the material is fantastic. I had simple Dacron sails done easy to repair anywhere in the world. The build quality was excellent. The sail was installed by John personally and setup on the yacht already to go. I was left with the impression that John wanted you happy with the sail and was not leaving until all was good. I am absolutely convinced if it was not right they will take it back to the sail loft and address the problem. My sail was excellent exact fit. Why Preveza? The location is excellent. You turn up on the Town Quay in Preveza 7 Euro per night with power and water available. Supermarket around the corner, Laundry, fuel to the yacht, Chandeliers around, collection from Speedx for deliveries plus a hundred places to eat and drink. JSails come along to you just call no walking about trying to find an address in town agree the price pay a deposit and the sail is delivered on time fitted and you are on your way.

I have already had several sails made by John. Perfect cut, excellent performance and advice . Never had better sails before. Always best quality and very reliable. John is not a sailmaker but an artist. Regards S.Y. Infinity
