It had the basics of what you would need in a bus stop. I traveled in August 2020, and the staff did not seem to enforce mask wearing inside enough.

Plan to take the 20:00' bus from Sparti to Athens? Avoid at any cost! Journey takes about 4 hours as it goes through Piraeus and acts as a local bus with lots of stops and a huge detour. It takes lots of knowledge and thinking to service the main route first and then all the rest! Just a waste of time!

Much space so you can be comfortable. Great routes. Rude employees in the ticket booth. If you have luggage the stairs that take you to the Lykourgos Avenue have big difference in altitude and you are forced to take a longer way to get to the avenue.

I brought a ticket from Monemvasia to Athens for 32,50€. Apart from the initial delay of 20 minutes, I had to change bus near Molai without any kind of explanation. Furthermore, another bus exchange in Sparti made this journey very uncomfortable. So, if you're planning to go from Monemvasia to Athens it's better to review your trip, unless you want to spent money and time (more than 6 hours) changing bus after bus.

A bit new female employee did not know much of her job in Neapoli, which made other people unpleasant with waiting on buying tickets. All could be online in 21st century, with qr codes. But since this is for Sparta, all is ok in Sparta, the best kolouri in Greece on the station. :)

There isn't that much of a wait to get tickets and it's a fairly clean bus terminal

Possibly the most well managed and comfortable KTEL (why do I think of cheap compilation LP's from the 1970's filled with one hit wonders?) Bus station in Greece. Non chaotic, well designed and easy to navigate. Information office, toilets and left luggage. If only the other stations were like this.
