Es una casa de comidas tipica en la que la señora no sabe inglés pero en que la comida está excelente y el trato es muy bueno. Nos echamos unas risas tratando de hablar griego para pedir la comida. A must to eat authentic Greek food. It is a typical food house in which the lady does not know English but the food is excellent and the treatment is very good. We had a laugh trying to speak Greek to order food.

L'unica addetta che troverete è la cuoca, la lavapiatti, la padrona e quella che vi farà sentire come quando andate a mangiare dalla zia Anna. Ovviamente non parla inglese, ma qualcosa da mangiare ve lo fa, che sia pesce azzurro fritto o qualche stufato di pecora o lo spezzatino o le verdure stufate non rimarrete delusi. Non ho mai trovato un posto così economico con una così buona qualità. Ovviamente non è per palati gourmet e per aspiranti chef, anzi forse per gli aspiranti chef sì, così non si dimenticano cosa deve, anche, essere la cucina. This is the real Greece. The only employee you will find is the cook, the dishwasher, the mistress and the one who will make you feel like when you go to eat at Aunt Anna's. It is noon and you are hungry for real lockal food and thirsty for wine, beer and raki-tsikoudia. You have to discover Koula just aside from Chanioporta. There you can satisfy your senses in the least expected prices. But BEWARE. Koula is not either for the fadeharted nor for the glamorous, gourmet and high living people. Koula is the last real kafeneio of Heraklion. A place where lawyers eat side by side with workers, drunks and foulmouthed guys. You have been warned. Now if you feel like it try and discover Koula. A complete authentic Heraklion's universe on its own. Only for lunch. Enjoy.
