Because they cook with seasonal fresh products there is no menu, but daily dishes prepared by Manolis and his mother. The welcome is genuinely friendly, the service great. The place is lovingly decorated and this is where the locals go. Manolis speaks excellent English, and though his mother doesn't, she has a way of making you feel at home. I went for breakfast, came back for dinner, and plan on doing the same again until I leave the area.

We were only on holiday for a week and we went to this place 3 times. Most of the ingredients are grown in the owner's garden and lovingly prepared by him and his mother. It's a family owned business and we highly recommend visiting for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

We weren’t quite sure what we were going to eat seeing as though we left it up to Emanuel to bring us whatever he recommended (probably the best way to go) and he did not disappoint. Every dish was better than the last and to make it even better, Emanuel took the time to describe the local ingredients that went into each one. Lastly, after all of the hospitality shown, Emanuel gave us a bag of local hand picked herbs to use on meals at home. If you’re looking for great Cretan food and even better Cretan people this is the place!
