★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were staying just one night at Hotel Olympic nearby , we arrived late and we wanted to eat Giros somewhere close to the hotel …. happily we discovered Kalamaki Meat Bar and had the best Giros we’ve ever tasted in Crete ! Great taste , good price , nice vibe and extremely kind and friendly staff - even though we don’t speak Greek and we’re obviously tourists . Thanks guys - love all of your modern ‘Greek urban street food’ styling and it was great to see so many young people hanging out and enjoying your food .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy with local customers, fresh food was constantly coming off the grill, with proper smoky, chargrilled flavour on the chicken souvlaki (which I had in a soft baguette with lots of toppings). The only thing that was salty was the fried potatoes, and they were delicious. With portions to suit every appetite and pocket, both price and quality are very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered pita bread chicken burger and another grilled vegetables, service was fast and the taste was delicious. I knew I had to try this place because it is packed of locals (when so it only means the place is good!). We were lucky to find a table to sit but it looks more like a take away service. All in all, hearty food for a decent price, and very nice location! Would definitely come back!

The taste will confirm it. To avoid. Just the yogurt sauce is good. (And beer to wash the taste) I wanted to give 2 star but my wife confirmed is a 1 star experience.
