T	Tasos Thalassis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στην παραλία του Καλάμου έκανα καλοκαιρινές διακοπές από το 1950 όταν ήμουν 8 ετων. Στηναμε καλύβες για να μένουμε και το βράδυ οι παραθεριστες γλενταγαν στις 3 ταβέρνες που υπήρχαν. Η παραλία είναι μερικώς προστατευμενη από τα καλοκαιρινά μελτεμια και έχει υπέροχη αμμουδιά. Σήμερα έχουν γίνει πολλά καταλύματα όπου η διαμονή είναι πολύ άνετη I have been on summer beach in Kalamos since 1950 when I was 8 years old. We set up huts to stay and at night the holidaymakers were partying in the 3 taverns that existed. The beach is partially protected from the summer meltemia and has a wonderful sandy beach. Today there are many accommodations where the accommodation is very comfortable
S	Ste Ta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφη, πλατιά και καθαρή παραλία. Αρκετά μεγάλη, ώστε ακόμα και με αρκετό κόσμο να υφίστανται σωστές αποστάσεις ανάμεσα στις ξαπλώστρες. Περίπου 1 ώρα απόσταση από Ερέτρια με καλή διαδρομή και μόνο τα τελευταία 3-4 χλμ να ταλαιπωρούν, λόγω στροφών. Beautiful, wide and clean beach. Large enough that even with enough people there are proper distances between the sunbeds. About 1 hour distance from Eretria with a good route and only the last 3-4 km to suffer, due to turns.

Επιβλητική πλαισίωση από καταπράσινους βράχους που κόβονται απότομα και την οριοθετούν σχηματίζοντας ένα στενό κόλπο που προσφέρεται για ήρεμη θάλασσα παρά τα συνήθη μποφόρ που συναντά κανείς στο Αιγαίο. Wonderful beach with turquoise waters and fine pebbles almost like sand! Impressive framing of green rocks that cut sharply and border it forming a narrow bay that offers a calm sea despite the usual beauforts found in the Aegean.

If you are lucky enough to avoid super crowded August then this place is like a little paradise. Family friendly, easy to park if you avoid rush hours. Nice taverna called Barba Bill which you should not miss. And a great cocktail bar right next to it just in front of the sea. Definitely recommended. Definitely coming back.
