V	Vasilis Tsagkalidis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best taverns of the island. Nice Greek traditional food in reasonable prices. People usually go there late in the afternoon for dinner (as with most taverns). If you are a big group and want to eat there, consider making a reservation.
D	Dimitris Iliopoulos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice food and a funny owner. Typical local greek tavern, where all the village elders meet. Still you feel like a part of the "παρέα" once you take a seat. The tomatokeftedes and courgette-caper omelette were delicious.

The owner welcomed us in a very unpolite way when we ordered our dishes. He was harassing his employees during our entire stay in front of other customers as well inside the restaurant (we were sitting outside) to the point I would have called the police if I would have been in Sweden (I am Swedish). The whole stay was terribly unpleasant. The food was ok but can't really say as the main thing wasn't about the food - me and my wife were pondering what to do, but didn't want to create a scene when visiting Greece which we love. I am very happy I have not experienced anything similar in Greece during the 30 years I have been visiting the country. I am very sad for the employees working at this restaurant.
T	Théo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest we came here because it was the only option for the lunch (all is close before 6pm in chorio). But the prices are really high and the food had no taste. Worst part is that portions are small (not usual in greece). If you are hungry, you rather eat something from the bakery (3 min by foot) and wait for the evening. And the owner was yelling on his staff in such a rude way, we felt bad for them and in France we would have act to make him stop.
A	Apostolοs Tsolis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place probably used to be an authentic tavern in the island's alleys, but now has become a really overpriced place for what it has to offer. Someone would expect nicely cooked traditional dishes with quality local produce; however, food was just average and expensive, with the most striking example the local goat plate, for 33 euros (!) one would expect that it'd be for 2-3 persons, instead it was just a large portion for just one. Sad to see they're taking such bad advantage of their traditional setting. Only good thing was the service, fast and helping, however the owner is quite a character.
