Only be aware when ordering fish, they price it per kg, which sounds a lot, but later we got charged 30eur for one plate, my little girl had, as the bill said a fish had 0.6kg, which couldnt possibly be. Maybe together with a plate. Enjoy

And the setting could not be more relaxing. If you are in a 50km radius you won't regret making the trip. Phone ahead as it is prone to be full at peak hours.

Traditional dishes like snails (“boubouristoi”), okras, “dolma” etc are also great. Scenery is unique. A “must have” if you’re ever in Lasithi or in Crete for that matter.

We tried many of dishes and all were delicious. The setting is just beautiful, right on the water. The family who own the taverna are warm and welcoming, it has been in the family for 70 years. You will see many of them helping and the older grandparents sitting at the family table. They always serve a complimentary homemade pie or cake after the meal. If you’re lucky, it will be the transitional Greek orange cake. A must try!

This small family owned restaurant exceeded our expectations in every single aspect. We got there for a dinner around Sunset, and let me tell you that the view was simply breathtaking and the sound of waves made it even better. We were greeted by a polite and professional young man that happed to be our waiter for the evening. The food was just perfect and I have no comments about it at all. starting from the wine suggestion to the appetizers and main course and ending with one of the most delicious chocolate cake that you'll ever taste. (Which was complementary) At the end of the evening we had the pleasure of meeting the lady behind the business and had a small chat about this amazing family-run restaurant, and she was the sweetest person you can ask for! We left the place speechless with the biggest smile on our faces. In a nutshell.. one of the best restaurants you can think of ?
