★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upozorenje za turiste nemojte ici sa brodom Viktoria koji je parkiran odmah ispred te zgrade. Prevarice vas i necete videti pecine i mermernu plazu navodno zbog talasa. Cista prevara.
Don't go with the Victoria boat on a trip they are liars. You won't see a cave or a marble beach.
Do not go with the Viktoria boat parked right in front of that building. You will be fooled and you will not see the caves and the marble plaza allegedly due to the waves. Pure fraud.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το κτήριο το ίδιο είναι πολύ όμορφο. Στον 1ο όροφο φιλοξενείται ένα εξαιρετικό λαογραφικό μουσείο, με εκθέματα από την καθημερινή ζωή των νησιωτών ακόμα και από την περίοδο της Τουρκοκρατίας,με φωτογραφικό υλικό επίσης μοναδικό και έναν εθελοντή ξεναγό αξιοθαύμαστο, αφού ήταν εκεί στις 23:00 να μας εξηγεί πράγματα για την ιστορία του νησιού, την ώρα που πολλοί συνομήλικοι του σίγουρα απολάμβαναν την νυχτερινή τους έξοδο(συγνώμη που δεν συγκράτησα το όνομα του!)
Όλα αυτά με δωρεάν είσοδο και μας δώσανε και ένα dvd ενημερωτικό για το νησί.
Η πανέμορφη Θάσος εκτός από την φυσική της ομορφιά, έχει και πλούσια ιστορία, που δυστυχώς πολύ λίγοι από τους επισκέπτες της ενδιαφέρονται να γνωρίσουν.
Χίλια μπράβο στον φορέα που υποστηρίζει αυτό το εγχείρημα!
The building itself is very beautiful. On the 1st floor there is an excellent folklore museum, with exhibits from the daily life of the islanders even from the period of Ottoman rule, with photographic material also unique and an admirable volunteer guide, since he was there at 23:00 to explain things about history of the island, at a time when many of his peers were definitely enjoying their night out (sorry I did not keep his name!)
All this with free admission and they gave us a dvd newsletter about the island.
The beautiful Thassos, apart from its natural beauty, also has a rich history, which unfortunately very few of its visitors are interested in getting to know.
Well done to the body that supports this project!
