★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing beach with nice beds. Good service and food. Restaurant is amazing. Only thing is that the dj and live music starts late in the afternoon, terrible! Please recruite a good dj, this is horrible! This is killing the good vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! You won’t regret your visit here! There is no charge for the sun beds, you are only required to spend a minimum consumption amount depending on which row you choose to sit at. This is a brilliant way to approach pricing and is more VFM than paying for the sun-bed by itself.
The water is crystal clear and warm, the people working at the beach are really friendly and helpful, attending to our every need.
Food was exceptional and really tasty, you should definitely try the sushi!
Overall, this is a really laid back place, not pretentious at all! It is really the ideal location to relax and spend the whole day at the beach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ as a couple at the beginning of June 2022. the price is 80 euros per person, the mattress, you have to spend to eat + tip, around 250 euros minimum. We saw no one dancing, there is lounge music but nothing special (for us). We won't go back, it's more for higher budgets and not for us. We're not criticizing, it's just for other customers than us and we prefer other lively places.

From far away the best staff in the Island. We had the best day there. The music is amazing and the food is really fresh and good. We had the Kalua Watermelon cocktail all day, was soooooo nice ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My cocktail was made badly with sugary drinks instead of quality fresh fruit as the menu indicates. It was hard to get service despite it being quiet and having plenty of staff. No smiles or welcome from the staff, it was an expensive and unfriendly experience. The decor and music is lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I went to a few beach clubs, and this was by far our favourite! We spent the entire day there, ordered a sushi boat and about a million palomas, and danced on the bungalow.
The staff were very attentive and friendly to us, and you could tell they really enjoy being there. Compared to the service we received at other clubs like Tropicana (where we weren’t served for 2 hours), this was far and away better service and it made us want to stay for more.
The view was incredible, great water for swimming and climbing the rocks. They had a live singer as well as a killer DJ and set list. I would highly recommend spending a day at Kalua if you’re looking for a chill setting that turns into a legitimate party.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Certainly a great place to visit in Mykonos (with improvement potential regarding its “premium” claims)!
The restaurant is well arranged and stylish. Plus the food is good and well presented (preparation could be improved). Kalua is certainly a more down to earth place compared to more premium locations around.
Nevertheless, (and without citing their competitors) I found Kalua less of a relaxed experience. The service felt something like: “order, consume and pay fast” whereas other locations make you feel welcome and value a longer stay.
Additionally, I noticed some minor inconveniences that are strictly individual, but might be worth citing here for improvement purposes:
- shared appetizers with various sauces are served with only a few pita breads which makes it impossible to enjoy all the sauces without reordering the whole menu = waste
- quinoa salad but also the kebab meat were not really elaborated and lacked taste (sauce, complementary ingredients, seasoning) = cheap experience
