★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take the boat taxi from Skiathos town old port (€4 each way) for an enjoyable & scenic journey to this excellent cafe/restaurant at this tranquil & picturesque beach. Great food & service from the friendly staff at this chilled venue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beachfront Greek taverna. The restaurant serves a very good range of Greek dishes, including the usual favourites.
There is an indoor and outdoor seating area. The restaurant is open sided so is almost open air.
As well as the restaurant, the taverna has a bar area serving lighter snacks. Again there is indoor and outdoor seating.
It's probably wise to make a reservation for evening during the high season.
To get there, it's an easy drive from Skiathos town with car parking available adjacent to the taverna.
You can take a bus to stop No.12 and walk up the steepish hill then down the other side.....probably about 15 minutes walk.
Alternately come by local ferry from Skiathos port right to the jetty in front of the taverna. Check the timetable so that you can have the maximum of time at the taverna.
I've visited this taverna regularly since 1992 and have seen it develop into a very good restaurant with very good food and very friendly staff.(2019)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regarding the taverns right on the beach - this was the best one, from the ones we visited. Children portions are great value for the money, while the specialty I ordered tasted great but could be a bigger portion. Surely would recommend this place. They dedicated great attention to details - tavern looks really great!

Staff were very friendly, amazing shrimp saganaki and a bit of a wait for the moussaka but we'll worth it, delicious!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One side of the restaurant/bar is for snacks only other side is salads and meals etc. However unless you are a mind reader or particularly astute which when in holiday mode most of us are not you must eat what food your colour chair tells you. The staff although friendly do not offer this info when you walk in.
We had underwhelming baguettes with hardly any filling in. Nice beach though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered braised Lamb shank & braised Beef.
Both were delicious, cooked well & the mash with them was fantastic.
Only hiccup was that they brought 2 side dishes out that weren't for us, but we didn't realise, then once we'd started eating them & they realised, they took them from us, explaining they weren't ours, but didn't give us a chance to say we'd keep them & we're happy to pay for them.
Other than that great food, great setting & great atmosphere.
