★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το τωρινό κτίριο κτίστηκε το 1922-1926 με χρηματοδότηση του ευεργέτη Ζώη Καπλάνη από τον αρχιτέκτονα Περικλή Μελίρρυτο. Η Καπλάνειος Σχολή ιδρύθηκε το 1797 απο τον Ζώη Καπλάνη στη θέση της Μαρουτσαίας Σχολής πού τότε σταμάτησε να λειτουργεί.Η Σχολή ήταν εξοπλισμένημε μεγάλη βιβλιοθήκη, όργανα φυσικής και άλλα εποπτικά μέσα διδασκαλίας. Την οργάνωση του σχολείου και την διεύθυνσή του είχε αναλάβει ο ξακουστός δάσκαλος Αθανάσιος Ψαλίδας. Το αρχικό κτίριο κάηκε το 1821. Σήμερα στεγάζει δυο δημοτικά σχολεία.
 The current building was built in 1922-1926 with funding from the benefactor Zois Kaplanis by the architect Periklis Melirritos. The Kaplanios School was founded in 1797 by Zois Kaplanis on the site of the Maroutsia School which then ceased to operate. The organization and management of the school was undertaken by the famous teacher Athanasios Psalidas. The original building burned down in 1821. Today it houses two primary schools.
