C	Christoph Brandstötter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to rent a Scooter for a few days in Chora in early september. Staff was friendly and showed us the vehicle and gave us two helmets. We mentioned that the protective windshield on one of them was damaged, so we asked for another one. He didn't bother and answered that we should use the helmet without it. The scooter looked very old and damaged, probably from falling over many times before. We took it because there was no better option available. We drove around in Andros and the scooter stopped working. It took almost an hour to start the engine again and we barely made it back to the shop. We gave it back and the owner couldn't give us a working scooter. Owner told us that it is the end of the season and the scooters are used and have some problems. Therefore, he willingly gave us a damaged vehicle, not being concerned about our safety at all. We paid 20 euros for a scooter that was not working properly. If you want to rent a vehicle, better go to a place in Batsi or Gavrio. Can't say something about the boats, because we had no intent to rent a boat after this experience.
N	Nick Embiricos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Karaoulanis is the best place to hire boats, Splash with Captain Gianni or Charlotte without Captain, if qualified, or self drive single motor, so one can really explore the wonderful beaches of Andros Island - where mainly there will be just you there. If boats are not your thing then there’s bikes - mountain bikes, electric bikes, where you can ride to your hearts’ content- ride hard, high, down hill, on road, off road and for hours! Of course you can hire a moped if the bikes are too much like hard work! The best thing is that Gianni, ably assisted by his wife and kids know everything about Andros including weather forecast and where to go whatever you’re taste or desires. The apartments, rooms, loft are covering everything you need and are all clean. We can not recommend Karaoulanis enough. Well done for promoting Andros Island so well! Never a dull moment!
N	N ynx on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great stay in Karaoulanis apartments. The appartement was very clean and neat. I would really recommend renting electric bikes. We had a great time on the bikes. It's a very nice way to explore the island. Because it was very hot at the days we went biking the bikes gave us some refreshing while going down the hills.

We rented a small boat for the day and got to explore more of Andros and visit many secluded beaches that would otherwise have been difficult to get to. The owner/employees here were very honest, respectful, and true to their word. Highly recommend!
