★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place we've found so far, they're trying to do more than just the standard greek salad. The beetroot with apple was very tasty, also the fried olives in tomato sauce. Main course, the kebab with feta was special. Definitely worth a visit. (Service was of course very good, but it's easier to find good service than interesting food!!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very impressed with this restaurant, beautiful yard and very friendly staff. Babis is very welcoming! The food is great, from the starters we tried the dakos salad (amazing and very good portion), the saganaki and the beetroot salad. Everything was well prepared with feesh ingredients. For mains we tried meat (pansetakia and kebabs), they were both excellent. Try the rakomelo, well made. We were offered the karydopita at the end which was very kind. Overall the place is recommended as it combined good food with very reasonable prices in a nice environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall nice place and quiet area. The food tasted good except slightly salty. I didn’t like that we got the apaki with mushrooms and the plate was full of mushrooms and only a few pieces of apaki but that’s ok. Our biggest concern and the driver of the 3 stars was the bad waiter-kid. He was constantly on his phone, when asked what type of meat is apaki he said it’s cheese (LOL), and he mixed our order and brought us the steak instead of pancetta. Otherwise decent place if the kid didn’t work there.

Babis turns this humble taverna into a safe haven for those seeking delicious, special food without the pretense. Every plate is his superb take on a traditional local dish, and he’s happy to suggest a good wine to accompany it. The service was friendly, honest, and impeccable. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.
