★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay. Sometimes I am very hesitant to post 5-star reviews. Why? Not because I think an establishment deserves the review but rather because I am afraid people will actually read the review, discover the place for themselves, and then I won’t be able to return without paying a higher price due to overwhelming popularity. Yes, I’m very selfish like that I suppose!
One must understand a bit about Greece. Depending upon where you stay in the Greek Islands things like water, Internet, and electricity can be spotty.
We spent a month at the Kassiopia Estate. With the exception of the Internet, there are no flaws with this villa. The Internet is spotty, but that is a problem in Corfu and not a problem caused by the estate. The estate has a full backup generator. If there is an electrical outage you likely won’t notice. The house has a huge fresh water reservoir to supply the house in case of low water pressure. The house is equipped with an oil water heater to backup the solar system. These are all things you will not find at other villas in Corfu!
I won’t take time covering the stunning views of Albania or the rocky coastline of Corfu. I won’t discuss the charming local village or the tiny, quaint mountain villages. I won’t discuss the friendly and welcoming people of Greece and Corfu. Those items have all been covered by others.
Let’s talk about the staff. There is an on-call Conceriege who will handle anything you can image during your stay. Need a boat sitting at the estate’s dock? Done. Need a restaurant reservation at a fully booked restaurant? Done. Need a Covid test? A local doctor will come to the estate and administer one personally.
The maid/cleaning staff is also amazing. You will almost never see them. Rooms seem to magically clean themselves. Fresh towels will appear on your bed along with freshly plucked rose petals.
And last, but certainly not least, let’s discuss Raphaella, the private chef. Sit back, relax, and be prepared for some of the most amazing food you will ever experience anywhere! Breakfast or lunch will be fabulous and dinners will be 5-star restaurant quality. She is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
So, please treat this as a one star review. Don’t think about coming. Don’t think about visiting. In fact, you shouldn’t even come to Corfu at all. If you do, you are likely to fall in love with the people and this place and I will have a harder time returning in the future! Please indulge my selfish nature.
PS. MAYBE you will have the pleasure of meeting the estate’s owner and his lovely wife. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing place, rooms were great, staff all wonderful, ok there was 1 broken sunbed, and wifi was a variable, but hey you're in Greece. Rooms were perfect in every way, a large bridal suite and several mother bedrooms all similar size. Special thanks to Tony Superchef, who prepared some amazing meals. The whole place is unashamed luxury. definitely 5* plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two magnificent villas set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the Corfu straits with Albania in the background. Beautiful infinity pools with comfortable sunbeds although some our broken. We had a private chef, Tony, who produced fantastic meals and made our stay so enjoyable. Daily laundry service much appreciated. Great place for a celebration, wedding, etc. However internet was poor, the hot tub did not work all week and aircon failed one night. The standard of rooms varied with one room having a four poster bed with a separate living room and large ensuite. In comparison we were allocated room 2 which was very small and had a miniscule ensuite that just had room for a toilet, sink and small shower cubicle. We also had a very limited sea view due to trees restricting any view we had. Place needs improvements to make it a 5 star residence.
