★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Τοποθεσία και χωριό πολύ γραφικά .Μέσα στο κατάμεστο βουνό από όλων των ειδών τα δέντρα. Η γιορτή του κάστανου δυστυχώς με προχειρότητα ειδικά όταν δεν υπάρχει χώρος στάθμευσης και υποχρεωνεσαι να ανεβοκατεβεις ενάμιση χιλιόμετρο με τα πόδια μέσα στο βουνό. Υπήρχε ένα μικρό λεωφορείο φεύγοντας, το οποίο σε πήγαινε μόνο τα 300 μέτρα έξω από την πλατεία του χωριού και μετά έπρεπε να περπατήσεις 1 χιλιόμετρο μεγάλη ανηφόρα με τα πόδια. !!!!
 Location and village very picturesque. Inside the crowded mountain of all kinds of trees. The chestnut feast is unfortunately sloppy especially when there is no parking and you have to go one and a half kilometers on foot up the mountain. There was a small bus leaving, which took you only 300 meters outside the village square and then you had to walk 1 km long uphill. !!!!

Like most villages in Arcadia, Kastanitsa is another beautiful and picturesque village! Drowned in the Chestnuts with the culmination of the Chestnut Feast, every year in late October! Traditional settlement worth walking around .. Real revelation ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tiny square contains two tavernas, and has some great views of the mountains, village and valley. It's possible to drive up to the plateia but only to drop people off, after which cars can be parked in the town car park back down the hill.
