★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Οι κατασκηνώσεις δημιουργήθηκαν το 1950 από την πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση Έδεσσας Διευθυντής κο Παπαστεργίου.Η πρώτη κατασκηνωτική περίοδος ήταν το καλοκαίρι του 1950 με αρχηγό τον κ.Καρτσουνη Νικόλαο υπαρχηγό τον Κο Χατζημηνα και αρχηγό ομάδας τον Χατζηαντωνίου Θανάση που μας έδωσε τις πληροφορίες (σήμερα 87 ετών) .
Η κατασκήνωση δημιουργήθηκε λόγω του καλού κλίματος της περιοχής και της ύπαρξης πηγής με πόσιμο νερό , αρχικά υπήρχε στέγαστρο για το φαγητό καθώς και μαγειρεία .Τα χρόνια που ακολούθησαν έγιναν υποδομές φτιάχτηκαν πολλά κτήρια έγιναν προσκοπικές κατασκηνώσεις έγιναν φεστιβάλ υπάρχει ακόμα η τσιμεντένια σκηνή των εκδηλώσεων.Το 2004 έγινε ανακαίνιση του χώρου με καλές υποδομές αμέσως όμως μετά ο χώρος αφέθηκε στην τύχη του με αποτέλεσμα την σημερινή εικόνα εγκατάλειψης.Σε κάθε περίπτωση ο χώρος διατηρεί την μαγεία του και τις δυνατότητες για αξιοποίηση.
 The camps were created in 1950 by the primary education of Edessa. Director Mr. Papastergiou. The first camp period was in the summer of 1950 with Mr. Kartsounis Nikolaos as his deputy, Mr. Hatziminas as his team leader and Mr. Hatziantoniou Thanasis as his team leader who gave us the information .
The camp was created due to the good climate of the area and the existence of a source of drinking water, initially there was shelter for food and cooking. In the following years infrastructure was built many buildings became scout camps became festivals there is still the concrete stage of events. In 2004 the space was renovated with good infrastructure but immediately after the space was left to its fate resulting in the current image of abandonment. In any case the space retains its magic and the possibilities for utilization.
