We made the round of Thasos islands with 2 sailing yachts! 3 days full of sailing , we had a great time! Thasos is a beautiful island! We want to thank the team for this great adventure! Excellent 10’!!

Though regular Kavala visitors for years we only recently discovered the possibilty of doing a private day cruise yacht trip to Thassos. We liked the idea and decided to get in touch with Kavala Yachting - the perfect decision! Our quite spontanious email request for a cruise right the next day was answered quickly with a thumbs up - from their three boats the Bavaria 44-type was available! Danai, the manager, answered all our questions we had beforehand as unexpereinced 'sailors', and that always within 15 minutes. Top communication! When we met at the harbour next morning, Danai and her father Theodor greeted us like old friends - but unfortunately not so the weather. It was cloudy and windy, so the two offered to postpone the trip for the next day. We agreed, and our wait was rewarded with a spotless blue Greek sky when we met again the next morning. So we hopped on board and off we sailed towards Thassos. Though its quite a stretch to the 'emerald island' as it is called, our captain Theodor (who speeks Greek of course, but also English and an excellent German) made the journey absolutey worthwhile. We learned a bit about sailing, listened to his anecdotes from decades of sailing experience, and enjoyed the beautiful boat, the dep blue sea and the wind rattling the sails. Finally there, Theodor anchored at beautiful spots close to the coast, with crystal clear waters that invited us to take a plunge. For our two kids, he inflated a lilo so they had extra fun ;-) To make long story short: All four of us had a perfect day with Kavala Yachting, we enjoyed every minute and are looking forward for a next time! Hello! My friends and I had our first sailing trip in Greece with Kava Yachting this October. It was absolutely amazing! Theo and his daughter Danai are a perfect proof of the Greek hospitality - they will do their best to make sure you have a good time! The communication was really smooth and they were flexible with dates, given the current circumstances, which was much appreciated. If you have any questions or troubles during the trip, they will be there for you 24/7. The boat that we were given was impeccable - it had everything you need for life onboard, it was techically sound, with charts, kitchen utensils and everything. The chek-in and -out were a breeze. And last but not least, the area is perfect for sailing - from Kavala you have fast and easy acces to several beautiful islands and ports, the conditions are usually good - even in October the weather was hot and we could swim in the sea, and had no problem with the crossings. Actually we are already planning to return for next year´s sailing vacation, because we still have places to visit! :) So we want to thank them again for everything, it was a pleasure to sail on their yacht and we hope to see them again next summer! I want to personally thank Apostolos and Danai for a great experience! We took a 10 hour trip to Thassos. Boat was very clean, beaches we went to were great and our group enjoyed every moment of the trip. Highly recommend!

Danai was great to work with! I captained a boat from Kavala Yachting for 9 people who had never been on a boat, let alone sailed before. Plenty of reasons to stress out (including the only other english speaker was my fiance) and Danai was very helpful in getting things squared away, gave us a great boat and was very responsive to all of my questions. We had a wonderful time on our 2 day sail...Hope to do it again!

We had a wonderful week on a charter yacht from Kavala Yachting, in May 2022. The communication with Danai prior to the booking and in the lead up to the holiday was always cheerful with very quick replies to any questions. The yacht was lovely, well cared for and fully equipped. Danai gave us helpful advice on where (and where not) to sail into before we set off and helped us during our week sailing with a couple of technical questions and advice on the best restaurants to visit. Overall we had a wonderful week, the sailing area is great, the yacht was very good and the ever cheerful and helpful service from Danai was excellent. Kavala Yachting are fully recommended and we will return.

We chartered for two months in summer of 2021. I'd say it's their service that makes Kavala Yachting one of the best! I'm doing this for over a decade now. Find me an owner that travels by ferry to my location to fix the engine within a day, that buys me breakfast when the shops are closed at the day of arrival or texts me to remind me to take in the fishing rod when I enter a wildlife-protected area. Very nice, caring and hans-on people! It's that good balance between amity and professionalism that you don't find on every coast. Thanks and until next time! For sure!
