Ok for the price but if you're looking for a tasty food, better look elsewhere. Tzatziky and sea bass were good; fried courgette, Greek salad, aubergine pouree and fried feta with honey were bellow average...Also, avoid the house white wine

Last night we ate here at Kefalos and had a wonderful dining experience. Starting with the bread, olives and pastes appetizer, which was very tasty, and followed by our mains of Moussaka, which my wife enjoyed immensely, and my Kefalonian Pie. The pie was stuffed to the brim with a delicious filling of slow cooked meat, onion, herbs and the other ingredients, which all melted in the mouth and was a real palate pleaser. It was also served with the most beautifully cooked chips. The portions aren't small either. We also enjoyed a bottle of the local rosè wine, Antigone, that was the perfect accompaniment. The service was efficient, polite and, although not rushed, quite quick and attentive. We had Greek musicians playing in the background, and I also even tried out my (very poor) Greek, which was kindly received, and corrected. This place is a gem and we are looking forward very much to our next meal here.

The food was OK, my sons pizza tasted strange and my seafood risotto was not cooked properly. I think because we had children we were not prioritised and had to wait over 45 mins for the bill. It was our last night in Kefalonia so annoying this meal didn't live up to the excellent food and service we had all holiday.

True home cooked meals, definately the best in Lassi. We eat here every Friday night and the service is amazing

Maybe they were having an off day... Nothing tasted fresh.. the mixed starter we had was over cooked and cold. The lamb main we had was lovely the accompaniments were gross the dip was tasteless and pitta stale, the moussaka we had tasted as though it was made days and ago heated up in the microwave... Throughout the meal from start to finish no check backs were done, our mains came out before our starter had been cleared and no drinks were offered at any point. We weren’t that bothered it was our last night and just wanted to go home and made no fuss. However obviously waiter noted the dish not eaten we said it was okay wasn’t to our taste, but the lamb was lovely. This then turned a little rude, the waiter taking our mains away, no apology, no offer of drinks or dessert menu… or even the bill. We had to wait 20 minutes before we could even catch an eye from across the restaurant to ask for the bill. At that point a free cheese cake with the bill was offered as a gesture however this is the free cheese cake that comes standard to every customer when receiving the bill…
