Yes - there are stones in the water and thus not best for swimming. And 4wd recommended to get there. But putting these to aside:
- overall the beach is upscale to others: grass, scenery second to none, wide sun loungers, huge amount of space between loungers, stylish sunumbrellas and toilet facilities (restaurant)
- the restaurant cant be praised enough. Fish / seafood comes in front of the beach. It cant come any more fresh than this. And the cooking quality and sitting area are perfect.
- There actually is a small beach on the left were you can easily swin with small kids
- Due to rocks a nice place to snorkel
If you visit just one remote beach in Skiathos, please choose this one. You will not be dissapointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful view, great terrace, very well integrated with the scenery. The menu has something for every taste, including fresh seafood. The grilled octopus is very special - a must try. I would have given a 5 star rating, but the service was very slow (only one guy serving) and we had to wait quite a lot for getting the menus, for ordering and for the check.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrific experience. Wait 20 min for menu, additional 10 min to order. After order we have waited 40 min for the first dish: Greek salad!!! (40min???). The last dish arrived alter 90 min: chicken fillet. My dougher was exhausted, hungry and ungry. Un useful to ask be quicker. We also ordered octopus.. The dish was really empty... The waitress was completely crazy, they continued to run without a goal..
The umbrella cost was 10 euro. Expensive but confortable. This was the only good things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful tavern, next to the sea, with fresh fish and sea food, and lots of options for food. The fried squid was delicious, the same for the grilled octapus with fava. You should start with kritama herbs, pickled anchovies and Greek ouzo. There are various options for fresh fish too. Overall it's a must visit tavern in Skiathos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, the scenery is just perfect, maybe the most beautiful place on the island. We stayed the whole day, ate amazing fresh fish direct from the water! The staff were so friendly, couldn't spend our day better! Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing Taverna in a glorious setting. Beautiful beach to watch the amazing sunset. Umbrellas and sun loungers are either on the beach itself or on a beautiful grassed area right in front of the taverna. Staff are excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The food is superb. We had Tuna salad and the grilled Anchovies. Portions are huge and the house Rose wine excellent value. We spent all afternoon and would thoroughly recommend. Many thanks to all at Tarsanas

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very elegant and nice restaurant, in front of a lawn going down to the seaside. The menu is very reach and tasty, better if you reserve a table since is not simple to find a free place. Not cheap, but the place is so nice and the food is so good that the price is right. Kind service.
