★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Κέντρο Ψυχικής Υγείας (ΚΨΥ) αποτελεί τον πυρήνα της κοινοτικής φροντίδας της ψυχικής υγείας. Σκοπός του είναι η πρόληψη και θεραπεία των ψυχικών διαταραχών, η συμβολή στην ψυχοκοινωνική αποκατάσταση των ψυχικά πασχόντων, η ψυχοκοινωνική μέριμνα και η συμβουλευτική παρέμβαση στην κοινότητα.
Συνοπτικά, οι λειτουργίες του θα μπορούσαν να περιγραφούν ως ακολούθως:
1. Πρόληψη, πρώιμη διάγνωση και θεραπεία όλων των ψυχικών διαταραχών. Παρέμβαση στην κρίση, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και της κατ' οίκον φροντίδας. Ψυχιατρικές υπηρεσίες για ενήλικες. Βιο-ψυχο-κοινωνική προσέγγιση. Εφαρμογή ψυχοθεραπειών. Ολοκληρωμένη, συνθετική προσέγγιση
2. Συνεχιζόμενη φροντίδα των ασθενών και εξασφάλιση του συνεχούς της φροντίδας σε στενή συνεργασία με άλλες υπηρεσίες υγείας και ψυχικής υγείας που αποσκοπούν στη βελτίωση της λειτουργικότητας των ασθενών, στην πρόληψη της επανεισαγωγής σε νοσοκομείο, στην κοινωνική και επαγγελματική αποκατάσταση. Το ΚΨΥ μπορεί επίσης να αναπτύξει μονάδα μερικής νοσηλείας
3. Ευαισθητοποίηση και Αγωγή της Κοινότητας σε ζητήματα σχετικά με την Ψυχική Υγεία. Ειδικά προγράμματα προαγωγής της ψυχικής υγείας και πρόληψης των ψυχικών διαταραχών σε συνεργασία με στελέχη άλλων τομέων (εκπαιδευτικοί, επαγγελματίες υγείας, ομάδες υψηλού κινδύνου, κλπ.)
4. Στενή συνεργασία με κοινοτικές, κοινωνικές υπηρεσίες και υπηρεσίες της πρωτοβάθμιας φροντίδας υγείας
5. Εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για επαγγελματίες ψυχικής υγείας
6. Έρευνα αναγκών και επιδημιολογική έρευνα στον τομέα της ψυχικής υγείας.
The Mental Health Center (MENT) is at the heart of community mental health care. Its purpose is the prevention and treatment of mental disorders, the contribution to the psychosocial rehabilitation of the mentally ill, the psychosocial care and the counseling intervention in the community.
Briefly, its functions could be described as follows:
1. Prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of all mental disorders. Crisis intervention, including home care. Psychiatric services for adults. Bio-psycho-social approach. Application of psychotherapy. An integrated, synthetic approach
2. Continuous care of patients and ensuring continuous care in close cooperation with other health and mental health services aimed at improving patient functionality, preventing hospitalization, social and occupational rehabilitation. KPSY can also develop a part-time hospital unit
3. Community Awareness and Education on Mental Health Issues. Special programs for the promotion of mental health and prevention of mental disorders in collaboration with executives from other sectors (teachers, health professionals, high-risk groups, etc.)
4. Close cooperation with community, social and primary health care services
5. Training programs for mental health professionals
6. Needs research and epidemiological research in the field of mental health.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ φιλικό προσωπικό. Γενικά και στο τηλέφωνο είναι πολύ ευγενικοί και συμπαθείς. Έχει λίγο καιρό που ξεκίνησα αλλά είμαι πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένος με το κλίμα γενικά που υπάρχει εκεί αλλά και με την ψυχίατρο ( ψυχολόγο δεν είμαι σίγουρος ) που με ανέλαβε.
Very friendly staff. In general and on the phone they are very polite and likeable. It has been a while since I started but I am very happy with the general atmosphere that exists there but also with the psychiatrist (psychologist I am not sure) who took me on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η γραμματεία κυριολεκτικά βαριέται τη ζωή της και το προσωπικο ... Δε ξερω.... Δεν αισθανθηκα καθολου βολικα και αυτα που μου ειπαν δε στεκουν και πολυ...... Ειναι...Λιγο εως πολυ αντιφατικα. Ημουν χαρουμενη που επεστρεψα Σέρρες και κυριολεκτικά χαλασε η ψυχολογία μου αφοτου πηγα εκει, ενω υποτίθεται επρεπε να νιωσω καλυτερα.
The secretariat is literally bored with her life and the staff ... I do not know .... I did not feel at all comfortable and what they told me does not stand up much ...... It is ... A little to very contradictory. I was happy to be back in Serres and my psychology literally broke down after I went there, while I was supposed to feel better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Διαγιγνωκεσαι με κάτι και νομίζουν πως πας εκεί για να κάνεις σόου και για να σε λυπηθούν! Όπως είπε και η κοπέλα σε άλλη αξιολόγηση, υπήρχε αντίφαση, και αντί να βοηθήσουν, ίσως κάνουν χειρότερα τον οποιονδήποτε τυγχάνει να είναι συναισθηματικά ασταθής, διότι πιστεύουν (από ότι κατάλαβα), πως άνθρωποι που δεν έχουν ως μέχρι μια ηλικία βρει τον δρόμο τους, δεν θέλουν να βοηθηθούν...
You are diagnosed with something and they think that you go there to do a show and to feel sorry for you! As the girl said in another assessment, there was a contradiction, and instead of helping, they might make it worse for anyone who happens to be emotionally unstable because they believe (from what I understand) that people who are not up to a certain age have found their way, they do not want to be helped ...
