Καιρό έψαχνα να αγοράσω μια λύρα και μου σύστησαν το εργαστήριο Ποντιακής Λύρας Kokkimelon. Ο Παπαδόπουλος Βασίλης είχε ακριβώς τη λύρα που ήθελα, ήταν ευγενικός και μου την έστειλε σε 5 μέρες! Ταυτόχρο να, άρχισα και μαθήματα Λύρας μέσω internet μαζί του και πλέον κάνω το μεράκι μου πραγματικότητα ! Βασίλη, ευχαριστώ πολύ για όλα! Συνιστώ το Kokkimelon σε όποιον θέλει να αγοράσει και να μάθει λύρα!

This is the second Pontian Lyra I have purchased this year. The first one was not from Kokkimelon unfortunately. Not being happy with the quality of my first purchase I researched further for another one. I came across to Kokkimelon and I spoke with Mr Papadopoulos who advised me which would be the best lyra for me as a beginner. I placed the order and the delivery was super fast. The product was packaged very well. When I held the lyra from Kokkimelon I noticed straight away the huge difference in quality compared to the first one. As Mr Papadopoulos is a well known tutor I decided to take a further step and start lessons. Lessons are completed online at a convenient time to my busy working schedule and with very competitive prices. I have completed 3 lessons so far and I am extremely happy with the progress. The lessons are interesting and straight to the point avoiding complicated terminology. I have already been taught the first traditional song how to play it. I am looking forward to many more lessons. From my experience so far, I definitely recommend the products from Kokkimelon as well as the tuttorials from Mr Papadopoulos. I will definitely purchase another lyra. Next time maybe the one with the different designs on it. Αυτη ειναι η δευτερη αγορα ποντιακης λυρας μεσα σε διαστημα τεσσαρων μηνων. Δυστυχως την πρωτη λυρα δεν την ειχα αγορασει απο το Κοκκιμελον. Λεω δυστυχως γιατι αν ειχα κανει την αγορα απο εκει σιγουρα δεν θα χρειαζομουν δευτερη λυρα σε τοσο μικρο χρονικο διαστημα. Αποφασισα να ψαξω παραπανω και ετσι ανακαλυψα τυχαια το Κοκκιμελον. Επικοινωνησα με τον κο Παπαδοπουλο ο οποιος μου προτεινε ποια λυρα ειναι καταληλη για μενα ως αρχαρια. Εκανα την παραγγελια και η αποστολη ηταν αμεση και παρελαβα την λυρα πολυ γρηγορα. Οταν κρατησα την λυρα απο το Κοκκιμελον στα χερια μου αμεσως καταλαβα την ποιοτικη διαφορα σε σχεση με την πρωτη. Ημουνα πολυ χαρουμενη με το προιον και γνωριζοντας οτι ο κος Παπαδοπουλος ειναι και γνωστος καθηγητης μουσικης με εξιδικευση στην ποντιακη μουσικη αποφασισα να ξεκινησω μαθηματα. Τα μαθηματα γινονται διαδυκτιακα μεσω βιντεοκλησεων και η τιμη ειναι ανταγωνιστικη. Ειμαι μονο στο τριτο μαθημα αλλα παρολα αυτα εχω ηδη μαθει τον πρωτο ποντιακο σκοπο. Τα μαθηματα ειναι ευκολα και κατανοητα ακομα και για καποιον που δεν εχει ασχοληθει ποτε με μουσικη. Θα προτεινα ανεπιφυλακτα με βαση την ως ωρας εμπειρια μου και τα προϊοντα απο το Κοκκιμελον αλλα και τα μαθηματα εκμαθησης ποντιακης λυρας απο τον κο Παπαδοπουλο.

Ψάχνοντας για δάσκαλο για να μάθω επιτέλους σωστά να παίζω λύρα έτυχε να πετύχω το τηλέφωνο του κυρίου Βασίλη. Ο άνθρωπος αυτός ξόδεψε πάνω από μία ώρα για να μου εξηγήσει πράγματα. Φιλικός και με μεράκι για την δουλειά του που το καταλαβαίνεις εάν μιλήσεις μαζί του για 5 λεπτά. Σαν δάσκαλος είναι αυστηρός αλλά σωστός, κυνηγάει πάντα την τελειότητα σε οτιδήποτε και εάν κάνει. Έχω κάνει άλματα στο παίξιμο μου σε λιγότερο από έναν χρόνο. Το ύφος του παιξίματος του με σεβασμό και κυνήγι της παράδοσης. Μετά από 2 μήνες αποφάσισα να αποκτήσω και μια λύρα από σφενδάμι από τα χέρια του, που από την αρχή ονειρευόμουν να έχω. Όταν την έπιασα στα χέρια μου κατάλαβα την διαφορά που λένε για τα βιολιά Stradivarius, εάν δεν έχεις παίξει με ένα, δεν καταλαβαίνεις. Το παίξιμο της ήταν σαν να είμαι σε ένα παραδοσιακό γλέντι πριν 100 χρόνια. Ο ήχος και ο τόνος της ήταν από ότι είχα εγώ αλλά και είχα ακούσει γενικά έτη φωτός μπροστά. Η μαεστρία στην κατασκευή φαίνεται από τον καβαλάρη μέχρι το καπάκι. Εδώ είναι που βλέπουμε η έρευνα και η τεχνολογία να κάνουν ένα όργανο να βγάλει όλα τα χρώματα του ήχου της. Ευχαριστώ πολύ κύριε Βασίλη για αυτό το ταξίδι στον ήχο του Πόντου!

Originally I had ordered a bow for my lyra from Kokkimelon. Not only was the bow perfect, but it turned into an amazing experience. I started talking to the owner which later turned into lessons. Vasilis is a master of his trade. His instruments are of the highest quality and his knowledge on the Pontian lyra is endless. If you are looking for a good instrument or lessons, Kokkimelon is the “one-stop shop.”

After a long search for a teacher, I came across an article about the shop and his work. I immediately got in contact and would not have it any other way. I have learned so much during my online classes and can only recommend it. Fortunately, I had the chance to visit the shop last summer and get my hands on one the instruments. Vasileios Papadopoulos is not only an amazing teacher, but also great as a person and he does excellent work. Hopefully, I will be able to visit soon again!

Very reliable and good sounding Pontian Lyres as well as an amazing teacher to teach you how to play them! Bought my first lyra around 4 years ago and was immediately stunned by the quality and the sound it produced, it even made a total beginner like me sound good. His online lessons have taken me to another level entirely compared to where I was at previously.
