When I'll come back to corfu ,I'll eat all dinner at Kostas:) Thank you the gastronomic experience!:) ( The girl,who was alone the 2. &3. time:D

They were restructuring tables to make them larger or smaller to go with the flow of the customer groups entering. Staff were polite and clearly veterans at dealing with the high capacity. There is an open view to the kitchen and you could see the chef's hard at work. The food was very good, I had BBQ chicken and the sauce was great and the portion size large. Spicy cod was full flavoured. Banana split dessert was also fresh and tasty. The sweet cake was also well liked. The only reason they are losing a point is the staff smoking in a room with an open window right next to our table. What a disgusting thing to smell, especially when you're trying to enjoy a nice meal. The tables did have ash trays so if you do love the smell of other people smoking you are probably good for a 5 star local experience at Kostas!

From the moment you walk in ,it feels true greek.Greeted like an old friend, nothing was to much trouble,the food is all explained to you,no rushing about,they have time for their customers. We had a carafe of red wine with our meal and it was the best I have tasted so far.We opted for garlic mushrooms and grill feta starter. Both were very tasty and the local bread just highlights the flavour. We had the fillet steak with peppercorn and mushroom a la creme,both were superb,one of the best we have ever had.The portions are a good size,so no sweets this time.So if you want a traditional Greek meal with a warm welcome this is the place to go.We will go again before the end of the holiday.
