Best Greek restaurant in Greece

c	cl smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spotted this on TripAdvisor so decided to give it a go. Very glad that i did. Friendly family run restaurant with very good service. The lady who was serving me was great. Well priced, big portions and very relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. I had grilled Calamari, which was more like a Kraken than a small squid! Was beautifully cooked ??and then you get the free pudding which was a very tasty yoghurt dish.

M	Miguel Uriarte González on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were AMAZED with the food. We were really hungry, it was about 4pm and they received us and ended completely full and satisfied. The tomato balls were really good, the best we have tried, it's obvious they have been doing it for generations. The greek salad was nice and fresh as well as the other starters (we ordered an offer they had). After that, we had the fish mix 1 and everything was deelicious, fresh and big octopus, a pretty nice grilled squid, the fish was perfectly cooked, soft and juicy and the fried potatoes were at other level. Finally, the desserts were handmade and fantastic we haven't tried a greek yoghurt like that, and it comes with sweet carrot and a syrup. Finally, the waitress, who was the owner, brought us a homenade liquor with raki, cinnamon and 9 more herbs that was called "Rakomelo", just like the name of the restaurant wich was reeaaally soft, good-smelling and tasty, so we ordered another one ;). The service was exquisite and we had a really nice talk with the owner. Furthermore, the price was very adjusted (less than 45 with 3 drinks) COMPLETELY RECOMMENDED.
A	Adriano Meis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even if it's rated as the best place for moussaka, we have found something even better: Papoutsaki (oven-baked eggplants filled with minced beef and besciamella, with cinnamon etc...)! All the food was homemade and excellent, even the fries/chips tastes particularly good: we asked and they come from "the Greek Ireland", Naxos ??? So, come here if you don't want to pay a lot and you want eat tasty Greek food (see portions in pictures) in a nice casual atmosphere, thanks to Pascal ??

We asked Our server what was recommended and she told us the tomato balls, mushrooms in brown sauce (can’t remember the name), the fava-stuffed eggplant, and the cheese filo pastry drizzled with honey (can’t remember the name). Then for main courses she recommended the meatballs, black snapper, and stuffed chicken. All were excellent! The service was excellent and she even brought us samples of other appetizers to try. Our server, Jenny, turned out to be the owner and cook’s daughter and told us that many of the recipes are authentic dishes that she grew up with, so it was wonderful to get a true taste of the local cuisine. At the end of our meal, she brought out a dessert of Greek yogurt with candied carrots that was to die for! Loved this place and highly recommend to all.

Chicken souvlaki was juicy, pita freshly baked and tapped with fresh olive oil. Unbelievable! ? Finally desert - Greek yogurt with carrot, orange and lemon jam… this should be a Michelin Restaurant!!! And the owners are awesome people! Come here if you stay here!! Btw, the lack of photos speaks for itself ? it was too good to waste time for photos.
