 What a pioneer for Koukoumitsa! Jewel island on the beach of Vonitsa! It connects with a stone bridge to the mainland! For walking especially in the summer sunset offering unique images of natural beauty! The right place for concerts and summer theaters! Homeland!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always anchor here when sailing into Vonitsa. One of my favourite places off the beaten track. Large bay to anchor in but the holding this year isn't great, used to be fantastic, don't know what's happened. A bit of noise from the main road and greek fishing boats in the evening. A 15 minute walk into town but a great place to relax away from charter boats and flotillas. Nice stroll around the wooded island pretty church and bridge. Not the clearest water to swim in better on West side, but watch out for sea urchin spines. Good bars in town, a few taverna's, mostly full of Greeks giving it a a nice feel to the place.
