M	Matthias Bsche on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fleischerei / Metzgerei: Schön eingerichtetes sehr sauberes Geschäft. An der Fleischtheke wird Schwein, Rind, Geflügel, Lamm und Kaninchen verkauft. Das Geschäft verfügt auch über Kühltruhen mit Fisch. In den Regalen wird von Wein, Essig, Öl bis hin zu Gewürzen alles verkauft was man zur Nahrungszubereitung benötigt. Wir wollten gehacktes Lammfleisch. Der Fleischer hat eine frische Lammkeule hervor geholt, hiervon die gewünschte Menge runtergeschnitten und dieses dann in der Maschine klein gehackt. Für 400 Gramm Lammhack haben wir dann 6 Eur gezahlt (2019). Ich erachte dies als sehr fair. Zur Lage: Der Fleischer hat sein Geschäft zwei Läden weiter links von der Supermarktfiliale "Creta Market" in Plakias. Hierbei handelt es sich um den größten Supermarkt in Plakias. Butcher / Butcher: Nicely decorated very clean business. The meat counter sells pork, beef, poultry, lamb and rabbit. The shop also has freezers with fish. The shelves sell anything from wine, vinegar, oil and spices to whatever you need to prepare food. We wanted minced lamb. The butcher has brought out a fresh lamb leg, cut down the desired amount of it and then chopped this small in the machine. We paid 6 Eur for 400 grams of lamb chop (2019). I consider this to be very fair. To the location: The butcher has his shop two shops further to the left of the supermarket "Creta Market" in Plakias. This is the largest supermarket in Plakias.

Health and safety are obviously not a priority in this shop. Κανείς από το προσωπικό δε φορά μάσκα ούτε τηρεί τα προβλεπόμενα μέτρα προστασίας ενώ ο COVID καλπάζει στην περιοχή! Και αυτά συμβαίνουν δεκαπενταύγουστο που υπάρχει πολύς κόσμος. Οι υπάλληλοι που κόβουν το κρέας δε φορούν ούτε μάσκα ούτε γάντια. Όταν παραπονέθηκα, μου απάντησαν πως δεν έχουν χρόνο για τέτοια επειδή προμηθεύουν όλα τα ξενοδοχεία της περιοχής και έχουν πολύ δουλειά (!) Ο ιδιοκτήτης μου δήλωσε πως ούτε εμβόλιο έχει κάνει γιατί έτσι τον συμβούλεψε ο αδελφός του που είναι γιατρός (!) Τυγχάνει να είμαι και εγώ γιατρός και έχω να πω πως ανησυχώ πως στον Πλακιά επίκειται έκρηξη υγειονομικής βόμβας. Αν κάποιος δεν μπαίνει στον κόπο να βάλει μια απλή μάσκα, πως να εμπιστευτείς για την ποιότητα και την ασφάλεια του κρέατος που πουλάει. None of the employees wears a protective mask or follows the COVID protocols. My complaints had no result. Health and safety are obviously not a priority in this shop. None of the staff wears a mask or observes the prescribed protection measures while COVID is galloping in the area! And these things happen on the 15th of August when there are a lot of people. Employees who cut meat do not wear masks or gloves. When I complained, they told me that they do not have time for such because they supply all the hotels in the area and they have a lot of work (!) I am also a doctor and I have to say that I am worried that a health bomb is about to explode in Plakias. If someone does not bother to put a simple mask, how to trust the quality and safety of the meat he sells.

S	Sven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top butcher with the best meat we found in Crete. So far everything we bought was top quality. Very nice red wine in1.5 liter bottles, partly Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots of other specialties, great spot for foodies. Absolutely recommended!
