The true meaning of greek hospitality. In a period when no means of transport were in service due to heavy snowfall, they provided us a room with discount and breakfast. The staff was really helpful and kind, they even showed us the rooms available and let us decide which we prefered and offered us a hot beverage for free, delivered in our room. The hotel is housed in a neoclassical building and located right in the centre of Trikala.

A very nice hotel and undoubtedly the best option in triqala. Big rooms, very helpful staff which makes all the difference! Our room had a poor AC and it was tough given that we traveled in August. Very nice breakfast, No alveolar, parking near by, good prices.

What a a wonderful place to stay at, I highly recommend. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they even greeted me with a fredo and water. The rooms are comfortable and in good condition. I love that it's an old building with old furniture and high ceilings. It's perfectly located and close to all the bars and restaurants but is still peaceful and quiet.

We have been there in 2017. I don't understand high reviews. Perhaps it's superb place when you haven't been anywhere. Maybe according to local standards it is a medium class hotel. The staff is not speaking English. Only the owner tries to speak English but he is rarely available, the rest of staff is simply avoiding you. The staff doesn't know what cleaning means. Dust is everywhere like it has been there for ages. I had to personally remove the dust in my room to be able to sleep. That's true you may see a lot of old stuff on corridors there. But that stuff is not cleaned (as mentioned the dust everywhere). The only words the two elderly waiters know were "omelette, youghurt?" You basically have to eat a tasteless omelette or simple greek youghurt. You want something more? Of course if you know Greek you could ask. And you must to have one hour to eat this breakfast because it takes this long to be served. When we had to leave around 8 a.m. (and the staff knew about that because we were a group) the kitchen staff simply didn't manage to put any food on our table apart from juice by that time. This is definitely a low class local standard hotel. More like a local school dormitory standard.

We stayed there for three nights. The people there are available to help all the time, they are warm and welcoming, they are kind and polite. The place is nicely decorated with antiques and it gives the feeling of an old house of a Lord. The windows are wooden and maintain the old looking design but they are soundproof and mute the noise from outside. The room was cleaned properly and all the proper measures where taken by the stuff. They have a very beautiful space to take breakfast, which is served warm by the kind stuff. The hotel is next to the river which is beautiful. If I ever want to stay in Trikala again, they are my first choice.
