Where should I start first. The owners were fine with us and the gardens are nice but few things just didn't work. LOCATION It says that the airport is 1km from the place, but actually the airport runway (according to google maps) was around 120m from our room, if you look carefully you can see a pilot in the plane and just imagine the noise when planes are taking off and landing. Some may not be disturbed by this, because airport is not that busy, but the thing that you actually jump off the bed when you hear it wasn't very pleasant to us as we were with our 4 year old daughter. FOOD Siora Stella makes some good pies, but for 4 days (instead of 13) of our stay we didn't get any, literally any fresh fruits or vegetables for breakfast. You dont get any drinks too, but few bags of tea and coffee to make it by yourself. The quantity of the food is also for discussion, because it was just not enough, we got once two pieces and half of pie and something sweet, I guess the half was for our little one. Cleaning It was clean once we arrived but you actually have a women changing the waste bags every day and you have all the equipment to clean further by yourself. So, after four days we decided to leave, payed 50% for the days we didn't stay, and I am not sure we would come back again. The place has just great marketing and once you experience the planes and lack of food you realise why everything looks perfect on tbe web. And finally I am surprised by so many positive reviews and definitely wouldn't recommend to families with small children id you are looking for a peaceful stay.

I travel frequently and this is by far the cosiest atmosphere I have ever experienced. The room was very clean and lovely decorated. The room was fully equipped, even with a small kitchen that had everything you need! Breakfast on the room's balcony was the perfect start of the day ? Seora Stella was cooking all the food and it was fresh and delicious ? every morning we received a different delicious breakfast basket! We had a lot of fun in the pool and a lovely dinner next to it, ofcourse home made food ? The garden was big and so green and full of fruity trees. During our stay the staff of the hotel were building a house for their pet parrot, lovely! We felt like we were home away from home. I went their with my girlfriend and we had a nice romantic vacation, however, the hotel is also perfect for a family with kids, lots of playground space ? The place is beautiful and the people are amazing! I would love to stay there again ?

Positive: We had a wonderful time here in Dendrolivano. The staff were very friendly and available. The studio was perfect for what we needed - we had a balcony with a garden view where we ate breakfast every morning. The location is great to travel the island, we managed to travel the whole island in the 6 days we were there (a car is definitely recommended). We will definitely be back..

Positive: We travel every year two ot tree times in Greece. I never ever been on Better Place! Excellent Customer Service! Excellent Food! The facility is unbelievable! The Host - Labros and Siora Stela are the nicest people I ever met! They have Great positive attitude! Thank You Labros! Thank You Stela!. Negative: Everything was better then the Best! Nothing wrong!.

Positive: Really pleased we chose to stay here. Apartment was great, pool and gardens beautiful, location excellent and the owners and staff were outstanding. We'll definitely return.. Negative: The only improvement could have been the beds, mattresses were a little firmer than we are used to but really that's not a gripe. It's fabulous value for money here..

Undoubtedly the best atmosphere I have ever stayed in. The owners are the kindest and friendliest people you can meet and their service is exceptional. Food was excellent and the the gardens and pool make you feel like you’re in paradise. A short walk to a great beach As well as close to argostoli.

Positive: We had booked for one night before our flight back to the UK the next day. The property is in a brilliant location close to the airport. The grounds are lovely as is the swimming pool. We had a lovely room which was spotlessly clean. There was sadly no power during our stay as we arrived after storm Lanos, however there was a generator running, we enjoyed a cold beer in the afternoon by the pool and somehow they managed to cook us a wonderful dinner which we enjoyed in the garden! Candles and a torch were provided for us which was also lovely. The service was exceptional and we were so very well looked after. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch in the morning and nice to enjoy on our balcony.. Negative: Nothing..

We had a late flight out of Kefalonia so needed somewhere close to the airport to spend the day. The hire car was returned at noon and K K drove us to Dendrolivano . At D we had cold drinks, lounged by the super clean pool, dipped in and out to cool off, ate their wonderful chargrilled fish and spent a fine easy day in welcome shade. We had fresh food, cold drinks, water, sunbeds, shade and a pool. And great service from all there. Taxi to airport at 9pm, easy. RB
