★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kupa is a place with a lot of potential it doesn't quite live up to.
In the upside: The ambience is relaxed and cozy, with plenty of boardgames and comfortable seating. The toilets are the most spotless and lemony-scented I've ever seen.
The downside: tragically overpriced for mediocre coffee. The staff (admittedly the one time I've been) seemed utterly uninterested in providing service. The young woman serving appeared confused and was very slow, and the barista acted like he could not be bothered.
It's a shame because this could be a cool hangout for students from the nearby college like myself. For the moment, I won't be back, nor will I be recommending it.
