★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a visit if you are in Zaros. You can see the making of products like mountain herbs, olive oil or honey in this small factory - no frills, this is a production facility. They also have a shop to buy the stuff at fair prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only recommend this place! If you want to buy some traditional cretan product you should go here. Prices are very good but the main argument is totally friendly personnel. They show you how they are making olive oil and other products and give you their own products to try.

We showed up without an appointment, still got an explanation of how the oil is made and got to taste different oils and olives. Great service and great products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must-visit place if you stay in Zaros or the area nearby. The owner was so nice, he explained all about the olive oil production. We also tasted the olive oil different flavours before making our choice (needless to say that the olive oil is delicious!) Be ready to shop other products like soap or herbal teas or seasonings. Wished our luggage had more space, we only purchased a few things (at a very good price).

The owner greeted us and gave us some bread and olives to try with different olive oils. There are also different types and sizes of bottles, they are at very good prices. He showed us how the olives are processed and it was great to see the care and pride he has over the olive products!
