Right on the edge of the small village, a relatively new upgrade of an older building, currently configured as 5 rooms/studio apartments and common breakfast area and sitting room, not in use at the moment. With Covid impacting every aspect of life, breakfast had to be self service, a selection of sliced breads, a pot of yoghurt, bowl of fruit, some pre-pack smoked turkey and processed cheese slices for toasties, a dozen eggs, a few tea bags and Nescafé portions, milk and orange juice eventually. Clearly normal service wasn't possible, but there was a shortage of implements and pans - no coffee or teapot, no spatula, only one small knife also no means of creating toasties from the ingredients. Shame really... Lots of choice for breakfast in the village. The room was compact, as described on the website so no complaints there...the very steep stairs will be a challenge for any dodgy hips or knees. Designer shower was well done. The fitted kitchen is neat but a little on the low side with only the bare minimum of china, glass and cutlery, decent frying pan. The bed, described as Queen size is Greek size and smaller than the UK essentially a standard double bed, being a simple coil spring it creaked and groaned with the slightest movement. Although we had one of the smaller rooms it was ideal as a base for exploring the deep Mani. Swimming in the sea in two minutes from the room

Amazing place and most friendly hosts ever! This place should not be mixed up with the fully commercial hotel nearby which has a similar name. Once you have visited this place you will know what great Greek hospitality means. Linda and Kostas are amazing and provide a real home feeling on Mani island. Furthermore this authentic Mani stone house with it's few wonderful apartments and thick walls is much more than the cheaper clones. You can feel history!

We had so much fun! Snorkling was amazing, we saw pointer fish, lionfish, sea urchins, octopus, crabs, a caves and even a shipwreck. We hiked to the top of the ridge (30 min) for an amazing sunrise and the sunsets were so awesome too! The water is perfect, the rooms are spacious, beds are so comfortable and the hosts are soo friendly and gracious! This experience was the best we have had in Greece, we will definitely be back.
