★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little family run hotel oasis on an island of calm. I only stayed one night here for work but would gladly and recommend staying for a week as a base to explore the island of Kythera. The family run hotel offers homemade hams and hot and cold items fir breakfast or locally sourced food. It has a small pool or you're 5 mins from the small sandy beach with calm sea ideal for swimming, floating or enjoying for all the family. The owner even makes some paintings and craft items for sale. The village is quiet and there are other larger villages to discover. Great spot for families and calm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Golden beach resort for 5 nights during our honeymoon in Peloponnese. The rooms are bright, very clean offering a stunning view to Diakofti bay! Breakfasts were one of the best part of the day, homemade delicacies using fresh local products, a real treat! The owners and the staff are very kind and friendly. We really could not ask for more! Really recommended if you are staying in Kythira also due to its convenient location.

Staff are very friendly and able to speak English
The gym has basic cardio machines but still very nice. The pool is very nice
