Then as it got busier the waiting time for the food was long and the waitress actually became quite rude. To be fair she was the only one working and had to look after everyone there. However, there was no need to be rude.
G	George Williams on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go here! With the waiters promising us the best meal in the square, we decided to eat at La Gondola. We ordered the bruschetta to start which came out as a hummus pizza - they assured us it was supposed to like like that and our definition of bruschetta was wrong. They then served us stale bao buns as a replacement. The mains we received were undercooked “fresh” pasta, pomegranate chicken that was inedibly too sweet, & and a risotto with hard rice. Clearly not satisfied with the entire meal we complained once again. The waiter and manager were rude and not understanding of our complaint, battling us on our every critique. We got half of our bill (should not of payed for anything!!). It left a sour taste in our mouth and I wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone.

Waitress did offer to change it and eventually took it off the menu but my partner ended up without lunch. Very disappointing

The waitress looks tired, which is not a surprise since she was the only one covering all table during lunch. The restaurant is good and offers both Italian and Greek food, making easier to accommodate when travelling with more people.
