★ ★ ★ ★ ★ when i travelled on peleponnes last year i met john and he knew the good crags for climbing! we climbed in lagada and agios petros together. after a good day of climbing in lagada we went for a hidden cool spring, where we jumped in like tarzan!
i‘m pleased to hear that john started with laconia travel - and i‘m sure he is the best guide you can find!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't miss the chance to explore the area on two wheels. I took the "Ride the valley" tour and I was impressed by the beauty of the region. John was extra helpful and he didn't miss to give me more info on the archeological spots we found on our way. I'll definitely come back for more rides. Totally recommend it...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laconia Travel is awesome. They set me up with an official guide to take me around Sparta — the ruins and the museum. The guide was top-notch. And this company also has a collection of apartments they rent. And my apartment is perfect! The staff at Laconia — John and Xakousti are the 2 that I dealt with — are very helpful, extremely nice and also very personable. It's because of Xakousti that I ended up making the trip (on my own) to Mystras which I absolutely loved. Thanks for everything. And I'd highly recommend them for both accommodation and tours. I hope to return so John can take me out on one of the hiking trails in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to thanks lacaonia travel for this great experience that i had in mount Paronas. We followed the path from the monastery of malevi till the the summit, points of interest of the was the cedar forest, plateau and the summit wich has an awesome view. John who was our leader was knowledgeable, experienced and enjoyable.
Good job guys, i will choose you again!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have only praise and gratitude for Laconia Travel, whose excellent team made a recent trip to Sparta so enjoyable. Our trip was a 4x4 tour along remote tracks in spectacular mountains (Taygetos and Parnonnas ranges), plus some opportunities for hiking and cycling. Tour guides Dimos and John were very professional, organised and knowledgeable, but also relaxed and suitably ‘siga-siga’. Driver Pannos was skilled and very generous, and all our travelling felt fun and safe – even when the terrain was challenging enough to get the adrenaline pumping. I really enjoyed everyone’s company.
I can also recommend Laconia Collection for the excellent apartment (clean, smart and spacious) where we stayed, in the middle of Sparta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While being in Sparta as part of a larger off road tour, I had the privilege to meet Dimosthenis from Laconia Travel.
For the few days spent in the area, his company, knowledge on the local sights as well as his expertise made a huge difference in understanding the history of this part of Greece, enjoying Sparta and the surroundings as well as reaching some incredible places in Taygetos and Parnonas mountains.
One of the days we've been guided down to the amazing Ridomo gorge, a spectacular geological phenomenon. We've been walked through the narrow gorge and admired the old stone bridge arching over the high gorge walls.
Apart from the travel activities they organize, I must also mention the beautiful apartment we've been hosted in and which is a part of their rental collection.
So, should you happen to spend a few days or a whole vacation in Sparta or nearby, I highly recommend to contact LACONIA Travel & LACONIA Collection for a full accommodation - activities experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to the Peloponese before, but I hadn't properly appreciated the beauty of the area until I did the Mani tour with Laconia Travel. We did this one day tour with 3 other friends and we were all thrilled with the experience! John, our guide, managed to cater to both our more adventurous and more historically curious needs, giving us an insider's look at the treasures of this part of Greece. I will definitely be booking another tour with them soon!
