★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Λαϊκή (Laiki) is an open market. This one in particular, which is in front of the Maroussi cemetery, happens to be on Tuesdays. While in Greece, it's a nice experience to visit a Λαϊκή and of course you save a lot on fruits & vegetables and much more. Worth the detour.
