★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Λαογραφική συλλογή δημιουργήθηκε το 1997 από το Σύλλογο Βαβδόνιων στη Θεσσαλονίκη και το Λαογραφικό και Εθνολογικό Μουσείο της Μακεδονίας-Θράκης. Η συλλογή στεγάζεται σε αίθουσες του Δημοτικού σχολείου.
Η έκθεση παρουσιάζει την παραδοσιακή ζωή της Βάβδου μέσω τεχνημάτων και φωτογραφιών από τα τέλη του 19ου αι. και στις αρχές του 20ού. Έτσι, έχει γίνει αναπαράσταση ενός παραδοσιακού σπιτικού, που περιλαμβάνει τη γωνία του αργαλειού, τη γωνία με τις ενδυμασίες -κυρίως τις γυναικείες-, το καθιστικό με το τζάκι, την τουαλέτα, την κούνια, το κρεβάτι και το ρουχοθέσι, την παραδοσιακή κουζίνα και το κελάρι με τα βασικά είδη διατροφής (ψωμί, λάδι και κρασί) και τα σχετικά αντικείμενα.
Στη συλλογή περιλαμβάνονται, επίσης, αντικείμενα που σχετίζονται με την οικονομική ζωή του χωριού, τη μελισσοκομία, τη γεωργία, τη σηροτροφία, την κτηνοτροφία, την εκμετάλλευση του δάσους και κυρίως την εξόρυξη του λευκόλιθου από τα ορυχεία που βρίσκονται κοντά στο χωριό.
 The Folklore Collection was created in 1997 by the Association of Babdons in Thessaloniki and the Folklore and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia-Thrace. The collection is housed in Primary school halls.
The exhibition presents the traditional life of Vavdos through crafts and photographs from the end of the 19th century. and in the early 20th. Thus, a representation of a traditional home has been made, which includes the loom corner, the corner with the clothes -especially the women-, the living room with the fireplace, the toilet, the cot, the bed and the clothes, the traditional kitchen and cellar with basic food items (bread, oil and wine) and related items.
The collection also includes items related to the economic life of the village, beekeeping, agriculture, sericulture, animal husbandry, forest exploitation and especially the extraction of white stone from the mines near the village.
