★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best cultural places to visit in Kea island. It is small yet combines in two rooms nice and rare to find nowadays old objects that tell you a lot about the older style of living. You can even see there one of the oldest power generators made of old spoons!!!
The outside area of the museum is also amazing! There is located a small open theater that is active during the summer with various cultural events such as the fairy tale story telling that takes place every summer, along with nice music events, video shows and traditional food and wine shows. Last but not least, a few meters away you can find a nice garden full of orange and lemon trees with nice benches and tables/chairs where one can have a coffee, drink or taste few of the traditional mezedes such as the Greek pies made by the owner of the Caffe. I love this place because the local people who run it show great respect to the environment around the museum and they are very hospitable and kind. A great oasis in the island to visit with your friends and kids since a small playground is also located in the garden for children to spend nice time and allow to the parents to enjoy their coffee/drink/food. Congratulations to the owners of this place!
