★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! We had a private excursion of Corfu and requested a Kumquat distillery, and we are so glad this is the place we were taken to! The aroma of sweetened kumquats is in the air as soon as you walk inside, and its was fun to see the workers dipping candied kumquats in chocolate. We were treated to freshly dipped nuts and fruits, as well as the counter full of samples of nougats, liqueurs, and more. We loved the gorgeous rustic modern design as well as the very reasonable prices--lots of great little locally made food gifts here like jams and more! Extremely friendly staff with one particular man who spoke beautiful English (as we can't speak Greek). This was definitely a highlight experience of our week cruising in the Mediterranean and I would go back without hesitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the new Tzavros shop and had a very good and informative time with Elena. She told us so much about the history of how Kumquats came to Corfu, how they make their many different products and of course gave us a good selection of tasings of the sweets and the liquors. Having never really tasted Kumquats before this was a great intruuction and no hard sell. That said we bought 4 bottles of different liquors becasue they were good. There were many other temping items such as glace kumquats, olive oils, soaps and Limonello. The store was very clean and neat. Thank you Elena.

You can see the production process and taste ? everything.
Kumquat here is the best.
At the cash desk you will get a small surprise/ discount.
It is worth visiting.

Would have liked the chutney and jam as samples but staff were more than happy for us to try the kumquat liqueurs. Lovely products and reasonable prices

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious fig pies (try spicy ouzo); kumquat sweets; limoncello etc. We noticed this shop on the way back to our hotel which is selling Lazaris products. Note that if you pass on fancy packaging the price of products goes down. Also sells some olive oils, such as The Governor premium and Neolea oil.
