★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not really a French restaurant even though the menu does serve mostly French food; i.e. the owner or chef have nothing to do with France. Food was OK depending on what you ordered. Cheese fondu not so great if you know what its supposed to taste like. The coq-au-vin was very good. Service was so so and they allowed smoking inside. They served a burnt desert after we waited a long time for it. At least they had the idea to take it off the bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful cafe! I love all the country house wood furnishing of this cafe. There is an upstair section too. Simple menu with brunch, sandwiches, icecream and various coffee and tea even alcohol. Friendly and helpful waitress who adds to the warm and cozy atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, but the manager of the place is very rude. We opened the window because people were smoking inside (against the law), and he came screaming and blaming us for being unreasonable. He made us leave at the end with his unacceptable behavior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretentious place in a Greek village. Big mistake to try and serve fondue which tastes like purée in powder. Nice ground floor area a for smokers! Overall. Just don’t go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place and very kind service !!! The menu inspired by the chef Thomas Matsas will take off the delicious cups even for the most demanding guests !!! Everyone should include it "le sapin" as a destination in Arachova !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy, excellent food, good service and good wine. We didn’t have a reservation, but got to sit by the bar. Great menu, unfortunately a few things was out, but it didn’t matter for my choice. Would come back for sure.
