If you're looking for something unique visit the ceramic shop and the ones where you can find local artists art.
Some of them are indeed expensive but it's good quality.

Some of the shop owners/workers pounce on you when you stop and look at any of their goods and won't leave you alone to browse.
Others are very good and just give you a greeting and leave you to look around. One or two may even offer you a drink.
