Lefkada Sailing - Vlicho

In der zweite Oktoberwoche 2018 waren wir mit Lafkada Sailing on Tour. Der Schiffseigner ,David Tempestini, hat uns herzlich auf seiner geräumigen und gut gepflegten Segelyacht "Roma" aufgenommen. Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder, Massimiliano, hat er für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub gesorgt. David ist im Ionischen Meer sehr erfahren und hat je nach Wetterlage eine entsprechende Route für uns herausgesucht. Jeden Tag haben wir an einsamen Buchten halt gemacht, die zum Schwimmen, Schnorcheln und Seele baumeln eingeladen haben. An Board wurde stets für unser Wohl gesorgt. Obwohl wir uns auf Selbstversorgung eingestellt hatten, wurden wir regelmäßig mit den Kochkünsten vom Kapitän überrascht. So gab es Mittags mal Bruschetta, mal Salat oder auch einfach mal ein Brunch als verspätetes Frühstück. Abends haben wir entweder in kleineren Hafenörtchen angelegt oder in geschützten Buchten geankert. Als waschechter Italiener hat es sich David auch nicht nehmen lassen, für uns an mehreren Abenden Pasta zu kochen. Seinen großen Versprechungen im Vorfeld ist er mehr als gerecht geworden. Seine Kochkünste waren ein echtes Highlight auf unserer Tour. Außer dem Essen an Board ging es aber auch mal gemeinsam in kleinere Restaurants im Hafen. Neben dem traumhaften Wetter, der wunderschönen Landschaft, dem prächtigem Schiff, hat die Crew maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass diese Woche unvergesslich für uns in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Liebend gerne würden wir diesen Urlaub genauso noch einmal wiederholen. David et "DJ" Massimilliano, mille grazie et arrivederci

Our day on Sailboat Roma with Emanuele & Davide was without doubt the highlight of our two week trip to Lefkada. You couldn’t meet nicer people and they did everything in their power to make sure it was a day to remember. The boat is very comfortable and the food (Manu is an AMAZING pasta chef!) was wonderful. We visited some beautiful locations, and had great fun swimming in secluded coves. I’d highly recommend!

The highlight of our trip to Greece was the amazing week we spent sailing the Ionian sea on the Roma with its Captain David. Each morning we would wake up to the smell of Italian espresso wafting thru the cabin. The anchor would be lifted and the sails set to embark to a new and amazing beach. Each night we would eat at beautiful Tavernas. David always had us at the best table. He seemed to know everybody throughout the islands. We were always greeted with smiles once the dock master, bartender or waiter knew we came off the Roma. BRAVO BRAVO

Beautiful boat in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and no musty smell. Captain David and his son are knowledgeable sailors. They are not just professional but very friendly and helpful. They even welcomed our dog onboard, which is rare, and made her feel comfortable. We had an excellent time onboard of the Roma. We’ll definitely choose them again.

Wow! Our time aboard the Roma with David exceeded our expectations. We spent 7 days exploring paradise in the Ionian Sea. We had beautiful beaches to ourselves and swam in warm turquoise water. We ate at outstanding restaurants where David ensured we had the best tables and the best food! On our second last evening we enjoyed fine Italian dining on the beach - the food was as good as any we have eaten anywhere in the world. David’s boat was spotlessly clean including the heads. David is a happy and relaxed and competent captain who took excellent care of us. The sailing was wonderful. Our communication with Emanuele was easy and clear and we are grateful for his patience as we had to delay and reschedule our trip twice. Thank you!!
