Legendary Suites - Chalara

AMAZING PLACE, STAFF AND VIEW!!! Was my first visit to Mykonos , me and my 2 friends, and we decide to choose Legendary Suites, they give us a very good welcome by waiting us at the airport. The rooms was beautiful and clean and after the first night sleeping there, i've realize that the bed mattress was the best I've ever slept on!! We had every day a different breakfast, a variety of tastes, i didn't expect such a nice service and Sofia was there to help us and also give us good advices where to go and visit nice beaches and restaurants !!! In one of the night Sofia made us some hugo cocktails at the pool and the sunset was amazing! <3 The area is quiet and during the day we stood in the jacuzzi and relax. We had such a good time there, I've already booked again to Legendary Suites for end of August, i can't wait to go back !! Definitely one of the best hotel i've been!

Where can I start? For about 6 weeks prior to arriving at Legendary Suites, the manager/owner, Sofia has been helping us with booking beach bars, car hire and any excursions we needed as well as Covid-19 updated on Greece, she has been extremely helpful even before we arrived to Mykonos. On arrival, Sofia personally picked us up from the airport and checked us in to the beautiful hotel she has. The hotel was exceptional; 2 large swimming pools, private jacuzzi, free standing bath, amazing views, cute breakfast room and great service throughout. It is in such a peaceful and calm place and morning views are incredible. The breakfast (which is free) was genuinely one of the best we have had, I am vegan and my girlfriend is gluten free, Sofia accommodated our needs without hesitation and changed the breakfast every single morning so we can have a variety of foods. She actually did that to every single guest that stayed at the hotel, so expect excellent service from her team! The rooms were cleaned daily and the mini bar (which is free) is filled daily too! The room was also tidy and clean and the bathroom was super nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from Old Town, which was actually perfect for us as Old Town (where all the tourists go at night) is ridiculously busy and so we hired a car (as per recommendation from the hotel). A small convertible Smart car was perfect. The hotel offered free parking as well so it was easy & convenient for us; as we also went to places such as Bar180, Scorpios, Principote, Nammos, SantAnna etc. So a car was very convenient rather than spend an ridiculous amount on a return taxi anywhere on the island, this would cover your car hire, so was really a no brainer for us. Taxis could charge from €35-£60 per journey, so a car was definitely the right choice. We sometimes popped to the supermarket if we fancied anything extra in the room and we also picked some carrots and apples to feed the horse that lives around the corner from the hotel, so we will definitely recommend to get a car and save money on expensive taxis, that way you can save money + see the island (which is very small and will take around 25-30mins to drive from one side of it to the other!). This hotel has nothing to compare with a 5* hotel, if we could give 6 stars, we definitely would! We would 100% recommend Legendary Suites and will definitely go back soon. Amazing hotel with Sofia (manager) and the rest of the team members so warm, helpfull and available. View, Pool and room beautiful ! All is lovely decorated and the place is so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast.....Fantastic! Very recommended.

This place is flawless. Starting from the apartments with private jacuzzi, two outdoor pools with sea view, extremely clean rooms including all that’s needed. People working here are just amazing, so naturally happy and helpful and always smiling, they create fantastic atmosphere. The breakfasts were super delicious, every day a bit different. I’d love to come back one day.

Wood, stone, marble and gold. These luxurious items they are the inspiration behind the architecture these luxurious suites. The sea, water and the sky comes in perfect harmony, which offers a quite and intimate refuge in the chaos of modern world. Every detail was designed to create an unforgettable mythical story. Of course it’s not for everyone.

This was our second year coming to Legendary Suites as we loved it so much last year! The rooms are so beautifully done and the views are just amazing! We also loved the morning breakfast, each day different and so nicely presented and also super delicious! Highly recommend visiting!

One of the best places to stay on Mykonos. We stayed for two weeks, had perfect weather, a really nice room and a fabulous view of the island as well as the sea. Sofia and her team are very warm and welcoming. Every morning you get an extensive breakfast which you can eat on your room on request. During the day you can decide to relax at the amazing pools on the premises or go to a nearby beach. As you are fairly in the center on the island you can basically get anywhere with a car within 10-20 min. Sofia also as great recommendations where to go and eat for lunch/dinner. The room has everything you need - even a Steamer to flatten your clothes. There is also a fridge filled with drinks that are all complimentary. The rooms are cleaned every day and you get fresh towels and sheets. Most of the rooms (In total I think 12 rooms) also have a jacuzzi so you can take a relaxing drink in the morning or in the evening and enjoy the view with some bubbles. One room even has a private pool on the first floor. Overall our stay was very relaxing, Sofia makes you feel like you are at home and I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a great relaxing holiday on Mykonos.
