worst customer service experience ever!!

Awful Service!!! We gave them for checking an unresponsive laptop. Upon calling them to ask what the problem is, they were telling us that they will let us know what the problem is solved. Finally, guess what!!! They DELETED (formated) the disk WITHOUT even letting us know (not even ask us that we have to pay for a backup, even though the warranty is active!). Absolute morons. We are back at 1999 when nobody had a reliable service!

The worst experience in after sales customer care and support ever. I needed information about a tablet which would not boot. The guy in support didn't know how to help me. After a long waiting, he told be that he will get back to me once he has more information. It's been a month+ already, no contact.

Worst Technical support ever! Nobody there to assist, they speak like robots repeating the same again and again. Nobody is willing to resolve any issues or help and they refuse to assist for laptops purchased 5 months ago with a 2 year warranty. Terrible experience overall and will never purchase from them again!

These people DO NOT KNOW what CUSTOMER SERVICE means, and I mean ALL these people: internal service personnel, external service provider, local management team, European HQ and warehouses. Definitely it must be their COMPANY CULTURE that DOES NOT RESPECT the CONSUMER and customer. Before proceeding to the case I must note that I have pursued contact with Lenovo public relations or customer support officials to describe all the problems I had to deal with regarding their company and all I managed was to leave my contact information and receive a vague statement about someone maybe contacting me within an unspecified time frame. Of course if someone contacts me I will mention it here and if he offers convincing explainations my post will be updated. I had two issues. First my YogaBook battery was broken and second my ideapad charger cable was also broken, both in less than a year from purchase date. 1. I lost the chance to repair my yoga book battery for free because internal service failed to identify my claim was within warranty period and sent me to external service. A week later when I noticed that the repair would not be included in the warranty it was too late because the warranty was over for 3 days!!!!!! 2. There are only two ways to initiate a service procedure with Lenovo external service contractor, CPI. One is to send an email with your request, that is in case you know what the problem is, and the second to leave your equipment on their service for 4 working days and pay 36€ for a diagnosis. 3. Two weeks have gone by and yet I have no response from the service regarding the availability and cost for the replacement battery. According to CPI, the Lenovo European central warehouse has not yet answered the request. 4. I called Lenovo central offices in Athens to complain about the service and their reply was "that certainly is not a management issue, take your complains to service". 5. ... and so I did, I called Lenovo internal service and while complaining for the procedure and duration of the service and how as a professional it hurts to be deprived of my tools for such a long time, they gave me the following answer: "Sir if you wanted to cover professional needs you should have bought professional equipment. The ones you bought are only for recreational use and thus it is normal to wait for long time for any minor repair." In other words the lenovo service employee informed me that my 900€ YogaBook and 700€ IdeaPad laptop are no more that child toys. Even for child toys though, the service procedure and repair timeframe is unacceptable. Especially when the company policy excludes any other service provider and provides spare parts only to their external service contractor. To be fair I must say about this one internal service employee who really was interested to assist me and actually managed to do so. His name is Nikos and I thank him for all his effort. If not for him I would have got the laptop charger also without the warranty. I will update this post when I complete the repair oi the YogaBook battery and receive my laptop charger to report the exact time it took each action to complete.

The one experience I had with their customer service was pretty satisfactory for me. It was about a broken tablet which they fixed and got back to me without any significant hustle.

I don't know... I bought a tablet some months ago from e-lenovo (should be the same company of this page, I guess) and everything was smooth and perfect. Now I was interested in buying a tower PC and I spoke to some guy who tried to sell a +2000€ PC, furthermore I wrote twice for information without answer. If this is the care they give to customers, better choose a different company.

Stay away from Lenovo!!! Their after sales service is not existing in Greece. If you try to contact their service department you will end up calling different phone numbers and if you are lucky you will get your problem solved weeks after your first contact.
