Liberty and Freedom villas were constructed in 2018 with the principal objective to offer visitors the quality time they deserve for perfect holidays, anniversary celebration or wedding event. They are located privately in a 5000 sq.m plot, at Platanias Chania Crete, near the organized beach of Gerani Platanias, on the western side of the island with panoramic sea and mountain view and large outdoor spaces.

A fantastic villa near the sea and the touristic village of Gerani, and half an hour from the city of Chania. Just above the highway of Chania, so, ideal to move around the island with a car. Luxury and a great view!

This property is exquisite!! We had a group of 15 ppl and a baby and Yiannis and Maria were so great in accommodating us. They had arranged for us to be picked up from the Herkalion port and driven the 2 1/2 hours to the property which was beautiful! Fortunately, we rented both houses but if we'd only rented one and the other one was rented by a different party, it would've been uncomfortable because they sit on the same lot. The guys enjoyed the basketball court and we all enjoyed the two swimming pools. The houses were gorgeous, spacious and very well decorated. Only drawback was the bedroom with the queen bed and the bedroom with the double beds are actually in the same room with a moveable divider but since we were family, it wasn't an issue for the boys to share with the girls but if you have a different situation, be mindful that those beds are essentially in the same room. The kitchen is on the top floor with TONS of balcony space so you can be outside enjoying the Crete breeze. The property has a view of the mountains and the water so the views are spectacular even if you don't have a helicopter to land on the helipad there!! Maria arranged a wonderful dinner for us on the day we arrived and had stocked the kitchens in both houses with groceries. Since we'd already stayed in their Santorini rental, it was so great to continue our relationship with them in Crete as well. Our driver was at our disposal the next day to take us on a tour of the city and he was also wonderful. It was a superb ending to our Greece adventure and we really enjoyed ourselves at the property, only wish we would've stayed longer.

Our family holiday at the Liberty and Freedom villas was excellent. The two villas provided luxury accommodation and were very well equipped. But the real delight was the location with the olive groves and mountain ranges at the rear and the views to the sparking coastline to the front. What a setting to unwind and enjoy the occasional glass of local vino! Our party of eight adults and six children (including two one-year olds) could retreat to the airconditioned rooms or maybe bask in delicious breeze on the various balconies. On arrival we were greeted by Yiannis and housekeeper Anastasia and treated to a variety of complementary foodstuffs and drinks….a most welcome touch after the long journey from the UK. Yiannis and Anastasia were responsive to all our needs during the stay. I was grateful to Yiannis for arranging the mini-coach from and to the airport. The standard of vehicle and driver service was equally top notch. We all look back to the holiday experience as being one of the finest ever.

The villas were amazing, the view of the sea was beautiful and the villas were so well equipped! Yiannis and Rita filled the fridge and the kitchen with a lot of cool extras. The beds were so comfortable! We loved the place and I can’t recommend it enough!! Just amazing!!!

Beautiful villas! Yiannis and Rita were very helpful and welcoming and even offered us a ride around platanias to show us the nearest supermarkets and some other stuff worth visiting! The pools were great, perfect depth for both swimming and having fun, the temperature was not an issue either. Kitchen was pretty well equipped but we sometimes had to check in the other villa to find some things as they had been moved from our house, but that wasn't a problem since we rented both villas for 17 people. Extra beds were brought by Yiannis without any problems and help was always just a phonecall away. Couple of things worth noting: - The road up to the villa was pretty rough so some taxis wouldn't drive all the way. - Definitely rent a car if possible since not much was in walking distance Overall a great experience ?

A dream stay! We booked the entire complex, everything was perfect: location is great, panoramic views are breathtaking (sea, hills, countryside), villas are beautifully designed and fully equipped, sound system in the garden, no immediate neighbor,… the list goes on! Special thanks to the hosts who were so nice and helpful!
