★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Lidl. Pretty large, lots of stuff for a good price. Quality is nice too.
If you are staying in Crete for a longer period I advice to get the bulk of your groceries here as the prices are unbeatable. Cashiers refuse to speaks english but then you only really need to swipe your card and be done with it.
Also; closed on sundays

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think that it's like all Lidl markets. Low prices low quality on most products but you can also find treasures. I recommend nuts wines snakcs beers. Products that I don't prefer is detergents shampoo meat etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conveniently located right next to the main cretan road. If you are a tourist with a rent car that is. The prices here are Much better than in the more tourist-frequented areas. We stayed in Agia Pelagia for example and decided to shop here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not so good sales ,bad manners sometimes , really bad food products, dangerous parking area with people trying to sell you things outside of the store and people parking every were. They have really good weakly offers for tools and garden staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shop! Open till 21:00 so we could buy some food after flying in late. Great tomatoes, nice fresh (!) pastries, great cheese. Saw quite a few people doing late night shopping.
If like us you're driving from the airport don't forget to turn onto the local lane well before Lidl. Or you'll have to navigate some narrow streets to get back. It's not a problem anyway, just adds 5-10 minutes
