Had to write about my favorite restaurant for my English class, and immediately Limniona came to mind. This place is a hidden gem in the relatively unpopular western coast of Greece. The restaurant is located directly on the beach, no more than 30 feet from the pebble shore during the summer, when the waters are lowest. In fact, not to take away from the spectacular restaurant, but half the highlight of this place is the beach. Look around, and you'll see the typical yet stunning backdrop of dark green trees blanketing the rolling Mediterranean mountains you thought only existed on postcards, and let me tell you, the pictures do not do them justice. The water itself, ranging from a warm, turquoise to a darker shade of blue and sparkling in the sunlight, is dotted with brown, rough textured boulders of varying shapes and sizes, providing for excellent diving opportunities (watch where you jump!) as well as natural homes for a variety of fish species. As for the restaurant itself, it fits perfectly into the Mediterranean flare. There are no walls, allowing the soothing salty sea breeze to flow through, carrying the faint Greek music present in the restaurant with it, and providing you with a stunning ocean view while you dine. The food is an experience, not merely a meal. They'll start you off with simple bread and olive oil, and not just any olive oil. The trees surrounding the restaurant are olive trees, and supply the restaurant with arguably some of the freshest and most tasty olive oil in the world. Order anything from the menu, and you won't regret it. However, some of my top picks are the kefalotyri, a hard and salty fried slice of goat cheese that is exclusive to Greece, the moussaka, a Greek lasagna style dish with a savory eggplant and potato floor, and the souvlaki, delicious bites of juicy chicken cooked to perfection on a thin wooden skewer. I can't recommend this place enough.

Very nice Staff! Was allowed to camp on their yard for free. However I had food poisoning the day after I had dinner there. I am pretty sure the pasta with tomato sauce was not fresh. Unfortunately I can just give two stars , even if people working there are really nice!

The absolutte best fish we've had in a long time. Also the owner was very welcoming. Fantastic service ? Beautiful view. Thank you for a great lunch.

Authentic Greek cuisine just meters from the beach. Good selection of starters, meats and fish. Good selection of single serve or bottled wine. Small selection of beers. Sit undercover to be most comfortable out of the midday sun. Enjoyed the chicken souvlaki which come served with chips and rice. Fresh crusty bread also comes with meals.

A great place for an authentic tasty Greece dish. The owner is super friendly and gives all a nice feeling. I really enjoyed my stay. Tasty, friendly, cheap.
